- My first 3D CNC engrave came out nice. Having a CNC for only a few weeks and being able to do this made me very proud. The upgrades to the machine and the information I have collected is helping me turn out some great projects. I finished up this project with a little laser engraving.

Would like to see more hands on your projects!
Maybe...
I just upgraded to a VEVOR S4040 from a 3018 it is plenty big enough for what i want to do . still learning easle myself as i am a newbie . biggest trials are feeds and plunges as well i have been bumping each cut as well . great video thank you and continue helping us new guys
It takes a while, It is rewarding once you get it going though,, Enjoy
Love the project! Can’t wait to see how Abbey finishes it!
Us too!
Looking forward to seeing how it turns out!
Me too
Fantastic job! I look forward to seeing the finished project.
Thanks.. so do I
That is GORGEOUS😮
Thanks,,
I love this 3D ingrave that you made. After your daughter does her painting we have to see it.
You will...
It s interesting to combine those two methods. 👍🏿
Glad you think so! I thought it had to be done...
I'm new to CNC I ordered the 6050 plus last night, and then started searching for videos. I'm now off to look for a video to wire up the DC to AC relay.Thank you for sharing your journey!!

I really like watching your channel. It's real interesting to watch what you are doing. One day I will be ordering something from you for my home. I do have the things you've made for Maymay and I love them. It was so nice to see Brandy out in the shack with you on the video. You guys are a cute couple, and your daughter is beautiful. Great little family. In some ways you remind me of my late husband. Maybe it's the accent. I love listening to the different accents. My husband was from Arkansas. Have a great day and give my best to your family.
Thanks, Glad you like the channel.
Always learning, always advancing the abilities through new devices. But relying on the building blocks you’ve learned in your journey.
Thanks..
Very nice.
Thank you
Thanks for the videos, I am thinking about buying the same machine and adding a laser. Good information and explains.
Thanks. I am looking at an upgrade. I am suppose to be getting a 600x600 upgrade for the 4040.
I have done CNC work for a few years now. One piece of advice, the Dewalt really does not need to go beyond 2 in the speed setting. The speed varies from 16,000 RPM at the lowest setting (1) up to 27,000 RPM at the highest setting (6). Going beyond 2, you will burn through brushes much faster. Oh, that would be a second piece of advice, get a spare set of brushes (or a few sets). Brushes will pick the longest 3D carve you have ever done to fail on :)
Thanks, I only run it on 1. I also have a spare router on standby. Also have some spare brushes. I hear that they aren't too hard to swap.
You've picked up the cnc really quickly. I'm learning both the CNC and diode laser right now. Your videos on Lightburn have been terrific. I went with a Onefinity CNC and I quickly learned that the software discussion is just like Ford/Chevy/Dodge discussions. I'll be curious to hear your opinion on the similarities between Lightburn and Easle. I'm trying Carvco Maker right now. I seem to compare to Lightburn because of how easy it has been to learn.
I just dropped $$ on Easel. It takes a lot of the guesswork out by providing settings based on the motor and bit size. I also like the graphics they have in the library. Just gotta make my $ back with projects. Thanks for watching.
Can you give us details on how you hooked-up the router to go on and off with the CNC machine?
It uses a DC to AC relay. I connected the relay inside a fixture box and mounted it to the side of my table. The router power is ran through the relay which causes the DC signal to turn it off and on. The power to the DC relay is pulled from a chip extraction relay that turns on the dust collector automatically. I will do a video on the new setup I have which works the same way. This is theDC relay I used. amzn.to/47W3l9v
Where can I find that bee 3d file? Is it available ? Looks awesome!
It came with Easle. It is one of the 3D files they offer
@@TheClackShack Thanks much... I guess I am signing up for the trial LOL
Just heard from Jason today, LB CNC is working but looks like not being released until Q4, so could be as early as 8 weeks away. The one comment he did make that I really liked was it looks very similar to LB, so sounds like it will be a separate product not just a Licence upgrade, just waiting on his answer on that, either way I'm getting it. From that Pic you overlaid Little Miss Clack has talent to burn get her to send some my way so I can graduate from stick figures LOL.
She should do a good job. Maybe soon
Im a woodworker about to retire from my real desk job. Looking forward to upping my sawdust game to some automation. First step will be a diode laser. I have REALLY enjoyed these Clackshack videos - Thank You for sharing !!
@@craigkoht5967 , more to come... Hit that SUB button.. Thanks
I just purchased a 3030 prover max got it setup ran the test file, now I want to cut out a part I designed in emachine cad and it won't accept any of the files this software offers. What's cad software do you use to design for this CNC?
You will have to set up a post processor to output the file to gcode. I use fusion 360 for designing and import the stl file into vcarve.
That looks fantastic! What software did you use to do that carving? I was unable to listen to it, so if you mentioned it I apologize.. Good job!
Easel
How much time does that dewalt save you, I wanna get into the cnc world and was looking at the same unit
It saves time but I would go with the 65 mm router (Makita) this one is almost too big for the gantry.
Have you looked into vectric software more powerful....more expensive but not a yearly subscription. Believe me it becomes less expensive the longer you use it.
I almost made my Easel money back in 2 days so far. I plan to try others but had to get the machine in the job flow and Easel came easy.
I haven’t been able to try out the others and prefer to test drive before I buy.
Buy some needle files to sand those creases you want. 16:48
Thanks..
6 adverts and not even half way through, sorry man I'm outa here
Have a good day.
