Really interesting video Luke, loved all the old cars there mate a few of them I used to go in, my brother had a Mk1 Lotus Cortina well it was the Lotus colours 😆 he put a different engine in it but cant remember what it was but it went like a bullet and was faster than the original Lotus Mk1😲 also done a lot of miles in a Morris 1000, I've owned several Mk3 and Mk5 Cortina's my fav was the Mk5 2.3 V6 Ghia loved that car.
Your dad certainly knows his stuff on the old classics mate he is as you say a fountain of knowledge, oh didn't see your missus there Luke hope she is ok🤔🥰👍

Cheers mate, something a bit different, forgot me camera so had to use the phone 🤦🏻‍♂️. Done what I could editing wise 🤣. Yeah I'm more of an American motor fan boy if anything, a lot more extravagant! What car would you have back if you could....?

The video was fine mate better than anything I could do. I do like the old American muscle cars but don't really want to own one, the car I miss the most and would love to have again is my Mk5 Cortina V6 2.3 Ghia it was gold with a fitted sunroof tan interior and 3 speed auto fantastic car and the V6 sounded lovely🥰👌 pleased the missus is ok mate you gotta keep them happy🙏😆

Sell the Merc and get another Cortina mate, you can paint it gold bit by bit 🥸

Yeah but the Cortina is now a classic, I had a Mk3 2000E in white, tan vinyl roof they now fetch £18K plus!! the GXL is over £20K, if you can ever find one then the Mk5 would be around £10K, although my 2003 SLK is a future classic it's worth about £4k atm or a bad one for £400😲😂
