You never have to explain to anyone a day that you take for yourself. Last year was a tough one but you did more than just cope through it. I hope you’ll always be happy. Lots of love and hugs to you and Jack (he’s soo precious!) ❤
How did I miss this vid?! Sped up fabulousness! Self care is vital, in whatever form that takes. That breakfast looks lovely! Hope you enjoyed your day xxx
Hi lovely Rechenda well it had to come your mum was your life giver you can loose many precious people in your life but your mum is a whole new ball game I know in a previous vlog you have to get on with things and I feel you wanted to block the loss out but it catches up with you but darling be gentle with your healing take the time to cry take the time to talk about her and above all take time out when your feeling low your TH-cam family are here for you and if your up this way I will gift you a lovely crystal therapy to balance your energy’s well God Bess you Rechenda (and Jack of course .)..xxxx
Glad you took a day for rest and self care! Your year has been so full of difficult times and it takes a long time to recover from losing a Mum! That must be still really difficult to cope with. Enjoy your weekend ♥️♥️♥️
Absolutely essential to have some self care time. I say this to my own daughters who also work extremely hard. It all catches up, and when it does its time to switch off and focus on your own well being. I hope you enjoyed your pamper session. Always remember- you are worth it!👍 xx
I've had similar lurgy which turned into chest infection & pneumonia.. been floored last 4/5 weeks.. not good, so my advice is to do as little as you can get away with; eat well, sleep, and take it easy.
life is for living, gotta take care and have fun because tomorrow just isn't promised. i don't have kids but i like "the budget mom" youtube channel - she focuses on living life and making memories while working toward long term financial plans, you really can do both
Good on you for taking a day for yourself. Im self employed and had a very busy 3 weeks and the last 3 days just really got on top of me. I had a massage today (Saturday). I have a full team this week so Im taking Wednesday off for a full self care day. Cant wait.
Hello Rechenda. Sorry to hear you are feeling absolutely worn out and frazzled. As other posters are saying, your mum's death was bound to come crashing in on you at some point. I had the same when my dad died back in 2017, I was sick as a dog for months (because I didn't slow down). Give yourself a bit of time and space, your brain is busy processing all the changes and no matter how we try to hurry it along a bit, it will get better in its own good time and not a minute before. Keep Jack on your lap and he will purr away your illness. Hugs and cuddles from our favourite people and animals are the best medicine. That being said, that gong bath thing looks wonderful, may give that a try myself. Keep up the resting. Miffy xxx
@@TheBudgetFoodie wow, just tried the gong meditation (looks like the one you and Jack did). Only did a bit but, oh my goodness, it really clears the head. Thanks for the tip.
You certainly deserve that much needed rest. I’m so sorry you lost your mum. I lost mine right in front of my eyes, while battling cancer. I was lucky enough to have had her when she was 87. My dad is alive and he’s 94. I am dreading losing him. Take care my lovely. X🌸X
You have to take care of yourself & let your body heal what is life without your health Sending you gentle hugs and hope you start feeling yourself again soon ❤x
Hello Lovely. Glad you took a day for yourself. You deserve it. I hope it helped you to relax. My chest infections last 6 weeks. Hope yours goes soon. You need to take it easy. Don't want you getting sick all the time. Take care.💜💜💜
It's really important to spend money on self care it's a must. Sorry to hear about your mother. It's a hard one losing a parent. I lost my father 2 years ago now it's so weird after the pandemic time seems to have gone funny. Another good way of unwinding is to go into nature.
Look after yourself, that cough still sounds like you need to rest as much as possible. I'm so sorry about your mum. Luckily you had her for longer than I had mine ( my mum passed at 69, my dad 18 months later). The family fell apart after that , as they were the glue that held us siblings together. I haven't seen my siblings for 12 years. Don't let that happen to you. Take care, sending you and kitty cat, a virtual angel to look after you ❤.
