Acapella versions of songs always make them so much more intimate and genuine i dont know why
Instruments allow for a manipulation of mood and atmosphere that's not possible with words. With vocals alone, the depth goes as far as your emotions, which is why bands like Kodaline are able to sound so good live.
Steve Garrigan always manages to make my heart feel very full or very empty. His voice, it does something to me.

I closed my eyes and listened...and i felt it.
I Wouldn't Be is honestly my favorite song from the EP. I always have goosebumps whenever I listen to it. This video simply just made it even better! Steve's voice is unbelievable amazing, it looks like he's been taking care of his vocal due to his smoking habit. And the harmonization, oh where do I begin, its ALWAYS perfect. I might have fallen in love with Kodaline just a year ago (I've listened to some of their songs years ago, All I Want was and still my favorite song ever) and every single day, every minutes, every seconds I was never unpleased with their performance. I wish, if I have the chance, to meet them and talk to them personally to tell them how their music saves me. They deserve every recognition they deserve, they're very talented. I love them so much.

Their first album was the only one I kept on replaying since that's the only one they have when I started listening to them. Don't know much about the 2nd album though, coz I didn't listen much.. but this new EP makes me excited for the 3rd album :'D I love it!!
I know Kodaline since their first album "in a perfect world". From the first listen to "one day", I liked. I just bought their latest album "politics of living", and once again I'm dazzled ... The voice of Steve Garrigan transports me! I can not wait for them to release their next album

3:05 this has to be my favourite bit. He sings this bit so passionately. You can really feel the emotion going into that singing. And what makes it extra special is that he actually doesn't do that in the original song. It added it for me. Love this channel because it just makes the songs even better! I've actually found amazing and talented singers through this channel. Can't wait to add to the list! 😄😁

Easily my favorite off of their new EP... This song has such a prevalent meaning in so many of our lives. I could only imagine how beautiful this would sound live in that very room... Those acoustics!
When I saw this song live in Portland omg I was almost in tears it was just amazing all the harmonies were just perfect if you ever get the chance to see them take it it is so worth it (get it)
my dumbass was sat here thinking 'how the hell did they get the keyboard in there so quickly before Steve started playing ??' then I realised that it must have already been in the room and they just WALKED OVER TO IT... on a serious note though, this was not the song I thought I needed but it really is the song I needed at this point in my life, kodaline always seem to reflect my innermost thoughts and feelings, as if they can read me like a book. The list of kodaline songs I've shed tears to is growing ever longer and I'm so very thankful that their music can give me a release of sorts
I really think that you should do a cover like this as a single. And just have you guys singing with a piano. Do that amazing vocal at the end that you did in this version then you've got a hit!
