Walk Behind Tractor: Gear Shifting Techniques

This video illustrates the best method for shifting gears easily with a Grillo walk-behind tractor (or most BCS models, for that matter)...by "feathering" the clutch while keeping a little light pressure on the desired gear-lever in the direction you want it to move.
**NOTE: This method does NOT work well with the BCS "PowerSafe" models, because "feathering" the clutch is not possible with those.**

Is the grillo comparable to the BCS? I ask because I live in Chile and they don't have BSC here but I did see a grillo the other day.

Hey Joel it's Rich in Kansas. Thanks for your help on the phone yesterday. I tried to adjust both fine and gross adjustments on that clutch today again. Real tight again so I am going to try the new part and see what happens.

I feel like the quick hitch levery vet for the bcs is a bit less sturdy. Are there replacements?
