Just saw this live on Saturday at Full Tilt, went hard 🙌 Edit: also seeing them again at the show you mentioned with Sleep Token. Will be my fourth time seeing Northlane, keen to see Sleep Token live for the first time though.
Marcus Reeves and Northlane reloaded are legit, they are in my top 3 bands, absolute underrated band, amazing live, they out here starting a new sub genre, nu-djent haha!! Enjoyed the reaction as always !
Really enjoyed this song, such a simple but effective sound and his voice is on point as always. Sounded a lot like Alien which is probably why I liked it. Either way great reaction fellas, looking forward to the new IG 👍🏻
Third Eye Visuals actually posted a side by side shot of the Matrix rave scene with the opening shot of this video on his Twitter and it's ridiculously close.
Ahhh yes, the moment I've been waiting for. The moment when you hear a genre you grew up with (Nu Metal) and now you're so old you hear bands do it and people be like, "Awe yeah! This is sick and new!" lol. Also, where be dat new Saviour tho.
100% a band that you can miss an album and be absolutely confused by the direction. I feel like they introduce something new every 2-3 songs that they canonize and it's just part of their 'lore'. Obviously, Marcus coming in signalled a massive shift for them, and they are now the 'scene's' 'Cool? Cool. Different? Different. Too different? Who gives a shit 🤷' band.
Love the vibe, just wish the guitars were a bit less repetitive. I think if the breakdown hit a bit harder/different, it wouldn't be as bad. Just feels like they kinda went 'oh that's a cool groove' and then did the whole song in it. Couple Northlane songs suffer from this, which is a shame, as they're great otherwise.
After honestly listening to Node through Alien, I see that the nu metal/progressive style is here to stay. So for those standards, Clockwork was a hit. There are plenty of other bands who do great straight classic metalcore style, but as I grow up I really appreciate the branching out multi-genre thing. We may be entering a Renaissance of bands giving homage to what was almost completely lost in the ambient/shoegaze/electronic scene that peaked in the 90's to early 2000's.
@@chrisppraefecti373 Clockwork was a bad song simple. This new song was not bad i have no issue with bands trying something new as long as they keep their "identity" within the music. But Clockwork was plain and simple a bad song. Anyone that disagrees is simply wrong
8am Tuesday AEST we are going live on our IG. Come ask us some music or general questions and talk shit with us!
Markpheus! Northlane continuing their flawless run of heavy tunes, love it
Marcus Reeves
When Northlane has those full chord choruses, it is just sheer perfection, especially at that tuning.

Funny that you mentioned Void of Vision, Jack (VoV) and JAcob (Thornhill) were either actors in there or simply helped with the music video
I didn’t know that they were in the music video.

Love this so much, cool to see you guys on the same vibe with me haha lot of other reactors are mixed
this reminds me alot of an old industrial band named Bile, that heavy industrial metal sound with sick vocals, I like it!
These guys are so good! And Northlane too I guess🤓
