I hate my Bamix. I just tried to make whipped cream with it and it took forever and it barely made a thick cream. I get better results with my hand blender using the whisk beaters in a stainless steel bowl. I'm disappointed because this Bamix was expensive and the cord is NOT like this cord in the video. I suspect a got a dud. I even had the glass container sitting in an ice bath. What the heck??? Darn it.
Where do you live? The curly cords aren't available in North America; I'm not sure about Asia. I'm on my second Bamix and they're terrific (I gave away the first one--a used '60s model I bought on eBay). Are you using the right blade? You need the A blade. I usually whip my cream and egg whites by hand but I've used the Bamix in a pinch and had no problem at all.
@@HotVoodooWitch : Turns out I was trying to whip half and half! I thought I had grabbed the heavy cream box but had, in fact, grabbed the half and half carton. Shoot, no wonder I was there forever expecting a whipped cream to develop! I learned my lesson! ha ha ha!
I got my Bamix 35 years ago. They have been in business since the 50s and were the first ones to invent an immersion blender.
Still the only buy for life immersion blender.
can you heat the coffe/capuccino in the cup after it is made? I really hate cold coffee
Excellent video, except for the music which is annoying. I can't find the first part of it, can you point it to me?
I found the problem with the stiff shaft helpful.
@ghijsch did you get it repaired? if so, were the costs and times reasonable?
which one is the copy? bamix or thunderstick, i am guessing thunderstick since its very cheaply made.
You can find the Bamix on Amazon and Ebay
Scarekrow9 was referring to an extremely cheap Bamix knockoff; it's not the same thing at ALL. How did "Zauberstab" make its way into your comment?
Why the music? it’s so irritating 😠 apart from that 👍
It's not a copy. It's the same company only a different name.
The Zauberstab is only available in Germany.

Agree. There us a different blade for whipping creams
