And many of them know trades and are taking your jobs for a fraction of the rate you are charging (or your boss is charging you out at). I already had a bunch working for an American fat cat at a roofing company roof my house in 2004, much to my surprise and consternation. And I had Spanish speaking (no English with either of them) replace my water heater, hired by their licensed plumber boss who wasn’t there, again much to my surprise and consternation. Both jobs were done in a half ass manner. The roofers cut into my rafters a half an inch when doing the ridge vents (AFTER I told the American supervisor to tell them to make sure they adjusted their saws to not cut my rafters, which he did). The "plumbers" used Shark Bite fittings and not copper. It’s not “code” to not have copper within 8 inches of the chimney vent. I complained to their boss and he said “we do it all over the city and haven’t had one problem with Shark Bite.” Good luck getting a county building inspector out to your house for something like that. I've already fixed two leaks myself due to the gasket getting hard and leaking after only four or five years. But after a few weeks I calmed down about it after seeing my parent’s few months old water heater spew water from the sweated copper fittings on their water heater that was installed by the gas company’s licensed plumber. Oh sure, we usually DON'T get as good a job, but guess what, we don't get ANY price break either. The traitorous fat cat American that owns the plumbing/electrical/building company is charging us the same exact rate he always did when he had higher paid American tradesmen working for him, but now he’s paying his "Mexicans" a fraction of the accepted pay scale. And the gov’t doesn’t give a shit about them not having a license as long as they are “supervised” by a licensed tradesman. But, nine times out of ten, the supervisor is back at the office messing with the receptionist, available by phone of course. So, Mr. Braggart Tradesman, that fat cat is going to be vacationing in his million-dollar condo or house down at the Gulf of Mexico and you won’t be able to afford a double wide. So, enjoy it while you can.

There are Hispanic guys POURING across the border at the rate of 15 THOUSAND A DAY!!
Yea i'd love to see some undeducated person try to be an elctrician its not going to happen. They can be a handyman all day but only few will specalize
If you can't get the job over someone who has no connections and doesnt even speak the language, you deserve to lose the job lol
Yeah no. Third world trade skills isn’t what the people paying legit trade folk go for. Cause they know what that kind of work creates….
We’ll hire some of those guys and join our companies together
As a professional tradesman, handymen are a step above the guys who know literally nothing
Well, you'll note they don't ever show him actually finishing a job :)

Most licensed tradesmen know a lot about a little. Someone on the same level without that license will likely know a little about a lot. Very few licensed professionals go outside of the field they study.

@@MmMm-f2y7c yeah.... That was exactly my point Copernicus. Staying in one field allows you to, ya know, get good, rather than only being able to perform basic functions of any given trade. There's a reason no single handyman on earth is called for ACTUAL construction and remodels.
👍🏻
Ahh yes...Matt and Trey...two Jews...trying to get people to all become tradespeople and leave higher education....sounds legit. 🙄
Meanwhile they import more foreign labor to suppress trades wages 😅
Please be satire. Oh god please be satire.
