I agree! He does really interesting things with voicing and pedalling, and somehow they make the first section more convincing than I've ever heard it. It's so hard to get the right character of this piece. Always so much to learn from Kissin!

I didn't know Eraserhead played piano.
the recorded sounds is not really helping, but the playing seems to lack the kind of introspective intimacy germane to these pieces.
