hey guys. I know this video is kind of "old". Anyways, if there is still someone out there, I just uploaded a video of my champ 600 with overdrive. As the uploader in this video here said, overdrives and the champ 600 do not have a good talk. But there is a way to bypass the issue I've found out. I've used an amp simulator pedal at the end of the pedal chain, just before the champ. This way, you get at least some EQ control (since the champ doesn't have one), and then you can modulate frequencies. I used a Joyo American Sound. It is supposed to be a fender "tweed" simulator. So, I crancked up the "medium" knob, and as result the overdriven sound became very smooth and nice to hear. Anyways, here it is: th-cam.com/video/XSfr8DhW5AI/w-d-xo.html

@@st_december I believe there is a speaker jack so it won't be a problem. Check a circuit diagram and/or details online. It will be very underpowered in the vast majority of gig situations. I imagine you are asking me because you don't own one already. Buy one if you want but if you buy in the expectation of being able to gig satisfactorily you are likely to be disappointed.
@@PaulMcCaffreyfmac thanks for answer. I just want a new amp and have a choice to buy this one + 2x12 cab or just buy a fender champion 100 so I dont know what will be better.

ps - top left is the T.Rex Twister chorus pedal
@@PaulMcCaffreyfmac Thank you very much for taking the time to answer.
@@oasisftw I'm sorry it took so long. If I had seen your question at the time I would have responded straight away.
@@PaulMcCaffreyfmac No worries, cheers!
what pedals are you using for this demo?
TH-cam Studio has somehow found hundreds of comments
going back up to 8 years that it says are unanswered.
I apologise if I didn't before (though I'm sure I answered a lot)
and I apologise for the 'cut and paste' reply now. I don't want to leave
any comments left unacknowledged but if I did 'em all individually
it would take a year.
A thumbs up would be cool to say you've at least seen this
but don't stress about doing that or replying. I just need to do it
for my own peace of mind.

ps - after all this time I doubt I can answer your question. Sorry.
Anyways, here it is:

Sorry to be late replying. I just found this in TH-cam's "comments I haven't responded to" page and hadn't been informed of it before
Yeah, it is! Why don't you build yourself a guitar as well? It's not hard! The only tricky part is getting the electric stuff working.
Another old comment with apparently no response from me.
So sorry yet again :-)
Nice hocus spocus

Can I connect it into cab and how?
Why would you want to?
@@PaulMcCaffreyfmac to play with it on gigs
@@st_december I believe there is a speaker jack so it won't be a problem. Check a circuit diagram and/or details online. It will be very underpowered in the vast majority of gig situations.
I imagine you are asking me because you don't own one already. Buy one if you want but if you buy in the expectation of being able to gig satisfactorily you are likely to be disappointed.
@@PaulMcCaffreyfmac thanks for answer. I just want a new amp and have a choice to buy this one + 2x12 cab or just buy a fender champion 100 so I dont know what will be better.
@@st_december I don't know the 100 at all. Obviously play both if you can
nice docs!
Haha! Thanks
Do you still own it now?
I still own the C600. Is that what you are asking?
@@PaulMcCaffreyfmac how is the maintenance, tube wise?
@@davidlalremruata When they die they get replaced. If you want an average valve life and/or costs etc you would be better off asking an amp tech who works on these things
@@PaulMcCaffreyfmac I thought since you have it for a long time perhaps you could tell how many times you have had to replace the tubes in this particular one..
@@davidlalremruata Only once
Haha, in that case it's easier than anything. Just imagine - it's like getting a $5000 Fender for $500!
