Wheels and tires are perfect. Add the Kyosho stickers to the top chassis tube. Paint the wing mount white. It’s just so nice 👍🏻 You just made the Javelin super cool 😎

That's very close to how mine is gonna look, but I'm gonna get the white cage when it's back in stock again. Pretty sure I have paint ripped off in no time :) Fitting the ESC and reciever was a bit of hassle but I got it done. Even though it's expensive I just couldn't resist getting the Le Mans brushless ESC and motor for this awesome buggy.

Excellent finish...leave the decals and the white detail on the black wheels alone. I would try some red anodized wheel nuts to match the red shocks. Do the wing mount in white, I think you're correct that it'd add to the roll cage/body.

Im not an RC enthusiast bt I did have a boomerang when I was a teen in the late 80's.. I HAVE been watching your build vids to chil me out at bed time and............. THIS is the vid I've been waiting for!! I know NOTHING but this car looks awesome.

The best part of the golden era was that manufacturers had the hobbyist in mind in design so scale was just as important as performance. When racing hit main stream in the early 90s, the hobby kind of floundered. Manufacturers need to return to the hobbyist in my mind and release kit *only* with a huge emphasis on innovative design and scale fun! Take some darned risks!!!!

I’ve actually run it now with a 21t brushed motor on 2s. Tbh it was a little slow on the tarmac but it was off the chart on the gravel 🤩 I was honestly blown away with just how good it handles 😎👊🏻

If you love it now wait until you drive it! Love it look. Might do the same with mine. I’ve already got the white cage and always planed do it. It a runner at the moment though because it handles so well I’ve left the orange cage on. Chain hold up to 2s lipo as well 👍

I just purchased this kit and boy is it diffrent than a Tamiya kit. Way better quality in every single part provided. Kyosho is the brand for me moving forward. Lol

I'm polishing all the metal bits and then painting them in a transparent urethane orange paint. I personally love the orange as I'm a Mopar guy, if you know...you know Ha ha. I'm going full kyosho with the electronics and brushed with the Le Mans 490. I'm building it all under the camera and will post my very first video of it soon. The video is going to be so "green" but got to start somewhere.

That is just too good for the display, that needs to go on a coffee table. What a fantastic job, I would put another decal on the cage where you were thinking but one with some red in it similar to what you have on the chassis cage to just.

Waowww! Lovely!!! If mine has not been stolen I would have definitely gone for the white cage! Only thing in this kit is the space to insert the receiver and the esc. That is why they did this huge driver so that you can pit the receiver below. Tamiya driver much better though. Then the receiver will have to go below. Should fit anyway. Plan a small esc… the 1060 was Ok even if the surface to glue it with double face is small. Lovely artwork as usual Glenn! Have fun driving it, it’s a true pleasure how smooth it is running!!

I fitted my electronics as stated in the manual and oh boy it took a lotta fiddling getting all the wires as hidden as possible. But the result is stunning.
I think ill spray my cage white also. White cage for sure looks the best
