Akira Kogawa really designed a wonderful chassis, all those years ago.
Oh, that's lovely, Nanni! That car is amazing, and the motor and ESC you got in it is perfect, such a great throttle, awesome punch! Good to see you show your adjustments, it's valuable to learn from, and also a good idea to wet the track. That was a joy to watch!

I also wanted a Kyosho Javelin back in the mid '80s. I eventually bought one back in 2020 to build during Covid lockdown over here in Australia, but didn't get around to it yet even though Covid is not such a problem now. So I still have it unbuilt untouched new in the box 🙂
Watching your video here makes me interested in finally putting it together. Thanks for showing us what you do, I really like your backyard track there. My only comment / thought is that maybe the brusheless motor you have used is a bit too powerful for your smallish track?
Thank you so much. Yes the brushless is a little too powerful for my short track. I gives a good acceleration but it does not reach the full throttle power....Good work and have a lot of fun. Ciao Nanni

Your front wheels on the wrong way round

@@NANNIRC yeah. Just if you look at the wheels they are directional. The shape of the spokes. Compare them to the ones you have on the rear and you may see. Great video

Yes, this engine sand battery mix is super for this old car, I' haven's filmed but on the grass it makes wheelie. Ciao and grazie
