Just built (from scratch) a $3k pc Total high end 😛and got saitek controller, foot pedals, and throttles. All for my kid (🙄 yeah, suuuuree)....New F-Sim 2020....flying KSTP to KDLH daily....no offense, but TBD 930 IS MY FAV.....cj4 is nice too, but I’m still in that sweet spot of power vs, not too much power...keep it up Max, we all like you!
I remember the first time I watched your videos last year, I was so inspired and so fascinated by airplanes, and what you do as a pilot. One year later, I'm currently taking classes because of YOU, and waiting for my first solo, Thank You for making my dreams alive!
Max, after I watched your meet-up in Jackson Hole video, I tapped the link for your magazine interview . I was blown away with what I read. I came from a similar family upbringing . My father traveled for business . I used to take him to the airport and pick him up when he returned. I started by collecting his ticket envelopes from all the different airlines that he flew on. I expressed my interest in aviation and possibly becoming a pilot but my dreams were never fulfilled . I still to this day in my 70’s retain my passion for aviation. I have learned so much by watching different pilots on TH-cam. I started by watching Premier 1 Driver on the tube. He is everything I would expect a professional pilot to be. I now live my life vicariously by watching professional pilots such as yourself and Greg to fulfill my dreams. My enthusiasm never wavers . If I can’t physically be in the cockpit with someone like yourself, I enjoy the experience with riding along . I commend You and Greg on your professionalism and the way you make user friendly videos. When you flew single pilot to Jackson Hole for the meetup with Greg, I was in the right seat accompanying you. I have the utmost respect and admiration for someone so young but mature beyond their years! Loved every minute of the interview since I knew very little about your personal life. CONGRATULATIONS, from a TH-cam admirer. Stay safe and avoid, “ COVID”!
The citation (CJ3) is slimmer in the fuselage compared to the premier1. No sign of 390GM out on the tarmac parking. Thanks for the quick glimpse of Jackson Hole, the Antler horn monuments are stunning and the "Cowboy Bar", ... MAN. I'd love to see P1D walk through a pair of swinging saloon doors. Whiskey? with the honky-tonk piano. After sitting the bottle on the bar, I'd say, ' I didn't mean to question the speedbrake. THEN THE HONKI TONK STARTS AGAIN.☕🏜
My first snow skiing trip was to Jackson Hole from Florida. Nice airport and fun to see the downtown area- Cowboy Bar and antler arch to the square. Good memories. Thanks for sharing. 😊
Hi, Max. Seeing Romeo Foxtrot with the Tetons in the background is amazing! What a great article in Twin & Turbine - you really are an inspiration to young pilots. Safe travels, my friend.
keith roe What a coincidence, Born there myself, along time ago myself. If you happen to remember a Levi store on the Square called the Bear Butt..... Let me know, otherwise, take care and good health....
I was just there a few weeks ago, visiting yellow stone for a week or so. Great video thank you for your time and Gregs. May you all have safe travels and please continue to have the time of your lives.
Great article in Twin and Turbine. My favorite part - "Even though I wasn’t getting paid, when I accept any job, I finish it. So, I put the blue gloves on and dove in…” Gotta love this kind of drive and pride.
Max you where correct sir...epic approach and what a greaser,,,,butter baby....what a beautiful day to fly in to KJAC...clear and a million! Awesome video buddy!
Gorgeous place and really nice video & plane. Remember, if I’m not wrong, a video of Greg departing from Jackson Hole with his MU-2 Marquise 😊. Wish both a nice dinner
Beautiful scenery...Sweet video...Never been or seen Jackson hole, Wyoming before.. Beautiful flight Max...Thank you for bringing us along ..Give Greg and his family our best...2 of my favorite pilot u-tubers getting together 👍🏼....oh and congrats on the article well deserved ..👏
Great video as always and very nice article. I've been watching your videos for a while but have not seen all of them and didn't know your full story until I read the article. Congrats on the hard work and accomplishments, and best wishes keeping up the good work.
Hi Max, You have had many co pilots lately and sometimes your mom, so seeing you alone really drives home that you are flying that jet single hand idly. I don't mean to be trite but that is so cool man. Thanks for sharing a one off experience, being of able to pilot your own jet, with the rest of us.
Jackson Hole is nice chill getaway for sure! I like hiking up around Jackson Lake for epic photo ops and I hear the ice fishing there is awesome in the winter. I like hitting up Polo factory store and the old cowboy western watering holes around the square when we're there too. We've always taken the motorhome bus up there but 2RF approach view of the Tetons is totally jaw-dropping epic! 🤙🏼🛩
What a beautiful life you have. You fly everywhere. I really envy you. I'm so curious about how often you have piloted aircraft. It's such a simple thing for you to do the piloting that everyone's so inspired.
I have followed Greg for almost a year . That is so cool you are invited to have dinner with a self made classy guy like him . That dude is a mentor and top Brass of the life style you are able to support .You are very well spoken and gifted young man . I’m gettin me a Tee and following now . Seriously Greg must think a lot of you and that is a compliment . Stay safe and fly right !
Hi Max. Thoroughly, as always, enjoyed your video. Great article and good to read you grew up in England. I live in East-Sussex, 'around the corner' from Gatwick.
I'm one of the ramp rats in Jackson, and on behalf of JHA thanks for stopping by! In remember it was pretty busy that day with the USAF 737 right up near A2 you taxied past and of course the normal insane summer traffic. Hope you enjoyed your stay and that all the services we provided were up to expectations, and if you have any questions feel free to ask.
Great video, Max. I received my CPL back in 2000, but got side tracked into a different industry. I live my aviation passion, through people like yourself. Thank you.
I should have kept up with my license, I had plans to get my commercial and instrument ratings, but then life happened. Trying to get back into the air now after not flying for 25 years. I used to work on the Premier at a service center.
WOW! Thank you for sharing this stunningly beautiful and amazing video. I use to be an FA for United and loved going to Jackson. It is absolutely my number one place in America for its people, beauty and nature. I love how in your videos you make us feel like we are sitting in the seat next to you! Hope you enjoy your time with family, friends and especially the hike. :D
Thank you Gary. Always love when I see pilots and FA taking photos like it’s there first time in JAC. Just a special place! Be well. Thanks for watching
Very inspirational! Congratulations on the honor Max! Kudos on the hard work and dedication to get where you are today! The only way to get ahead, conquer and live your dreams is by good old fashioned hard work.
Wow, what a great landing my man! Nice work :-) So great that you got to go and meet up with Greg too! Love him. Meanwhile, I sit here in Miami with MSFS 2020 and only dream LOL. Stay safe, looked like lots of crowded people there in the town. Scary! I saw your mask on the FO seat on the way in.
Wow! Another fun flight...beautiful place to be...love it that I so willingly share with us..be safe and stay healthy..say hi to P1D and all and Citation Mom & Dad and Kevin..enjoy ur time together....u are a lucky guy!😊
Always a good watch! Sometimes I’ve got to watch them twice because they’re just that good. Keep up the great content and of course keep “greasing” them on!
Hi Max, all good thanks, hope your all good with family. Stunning cavoc weather. Great info video. Clean clear and action packed. Have a great weekend. We're watching live daily video of Le Tour de France from helicopters over southern France. Awesome topography.
I like your intelligent and "egoless" presentation. There is another TH-camr, out of Florida, a commercial light aircraft pilot, who is so obsessive and caught up with himself that I wouldn't feel comfortable flying with him.
Max !! Thank you awesome video .. the bumping landing and nice place .. great tour you give us.. I never been there however I will some day !! as always All the best !! be safe !!!
Yep, Jackson Hole is definitely a place I have to get to among others in the northern states if I can ever make it to the USA again. I fly into KJAC in P3D4.5 with ORBX scenery but the problem is.....you can’t get out of the airport.
Dear Max...this is the first citationmax video I saw, and only stumbled onto it in the last week or so. I was struck by two things. First, the amazing glass cockpit...which is common now, but I had not really seen. Second is this amazingly young pilot, Max. I wondered how the heck so young a "kid" was flying around solo in a state of the art private. But I was very impressed with how on top of it all he was; very mentally talented and very professional. His parents provided the capital, but much more, and it’s an interesting story. I love Max's story because his drive is very nostalgic for me. I'm seriously dating myself here, but in the late 60s I was hanging around my local small airport gazing into cockpits and asking questions. When 13, I spent my summer self-studying for the private pilot written and passed it. That was the motivation for my folks to finance flying lessons, although in a 150 at an uncontrolled tiny airport. Somewhat like Max, I soloed at 16, and completed PPL at 18. Unlike Max, I went the military route and flew multiple fighters (A-7, A-10, F-16). I worry that young people don't have enough drive to pursue aviation "these days." The civilian and military have a pilot shortage crisis. I exclaim to my wife "How can young people not want to be a pilot!" She says that it's perceived as "too hard" these days. Max, I must give you my highest compliments for the potential that your channel videos have to impress/motivate young people to dream, believe, and pursue an aviation career. For most people as young as yourself, being a role model could be a burden. Sir, you are up to it, and I hope you continue doing what you clearly love and were meant to do. Pass my compliments to your infinitely proud parents. We'll be watching and enjoying. Best wishes. Fly safe. :-)
Hi Joe, WOW reading this really means a lot. I have been very fortunate and blessed but as you know work is work and nothing is handed to you. Something that has been drilled in to me from a very young age. I hope to inspire and motivate the next generation really my goal with this channel! Thank you for your service and your kind words. Take care and be well!
What a great looking spot Max. Shame I never made it there when I was living in the States. I hope you had a great time with Greg and his family. Thanks for a fantastic video.
After reading the article in "Twin & Turbine", it gave me a deeper appreciation for how Max has progressed. I will say that his family having "money" surely enabled him to progress faster than the normal pilot could just from a financial standpoint but you still need to to put in the hard work and have the skills to to able to succeed. Well done Max!
Love Jackson Hole. Went skiing there years ago. Snowing and windy in the evening flying in on a regular commercial flight. Pilot had full rudder and aileron cranked in due to a strong cross wind. He dragged a wing tip on the snowy runway upon landing.
Greg is such a great guy. It’s hard to believe one of his subs tweeked him over his clearing the runway. You guys are a credit to your profession. I hope you have a great time in At Jackson hole. I visited Yellowstone with my daughter last summer. We also went to glacier national park on that trip. Beautiful scenery. Can hardly wait to go back again. Thanks for the vlog Max. Hope you and Greg and family have a nice time together
Max, read your Pilot Profile in T&T, great story, I understand your caution on single pilot operations in high performance aircraft, 'Jackson Hole' has a spectacular approach, not so nice on a winters night in blowing snow. Fly Safe

It’s very standard. Normally you call the FBO 20 min away to confirm your arrival and give your request if you have any.
