I think Corrective Action’s ability to give great skill checks to other survivors shouldn’t count as a Hyperfocus stack for that other survivor. Kinda like how Hardened and Scene Partner don’t synergize even tho they totally should, and that’s a wayyyy less problematic combo.

Meh, I do run reassurance + borrowed time + babysitter most of the time 4th slot can be deja vu / desperate measures / we'll make it / for the people (healing perks have great synergy with babysitter's aura reading) If I had a nickel every time a killer hard tunnelled or a surv still gave up and committed sudoku despite all that, I'd be rich by now :P

Nobody at BVHR plays the game. That's the problem. Remember how flashlights weren't an issue worth their attention, until an open dev stream saw Patrick get absolutely obliterated by chain blinds? I'm positive they spend more time theorycrafting than actually playing.

However, what I think most people fail to realize is that it’s unlikely that this perk will “break the meta” if it goes live. Same thing was said about Hyperfocus and Champion of Light yet I hardly see those perks being used consistently.

Tbh biggest problem is probably that it not only gets stacks of hyper focus but gives stacks to their corrective action as well, making it an infinite loop.

I was watching Scott Junds reaction to the patch notes and was awestruck when he said they (BHVR) would have surely thought about these synergies. They haven't because they clearly don't think. I wouldn't be surprised if this goes live and doesn't get patched until next year.

Simple fix. 2 or more instances of corrective action cannot give corrective action more tokens, this way after 3 missed skill checks you lose all corrective action tokens, forcing people to actually try and hit the skill checks

Even as a killer main, I'm glad to see survivors get something to give them a fighting chance. That being said, the change to predator is nuts. Gonna be nearly impossible to win chases.
I honestly think they do stuff like this on purpose when the game get too killer sided and vice versa? They have to know how strong this is and then when people complian they nerf it. I just wish people would adapt and get better at the game instead of complaining the game is that sided or this cuz you can always find a weak spot in a suit of armor(so to speak)but you gotta try different tactics to win. Twins and skull merchant have low pick rates but they still got nerfed. Statistically, nurse has the worst kill rate and a low pick rate, so that must mean she's a non-issue according to your logic right? It doesn't matter that it doesn't happen often. What matters is that it's too strong, and that you only need two perks to get sub thirty second gen times.

Add Street Wise and Built to Last and you get guaranteed skill checks to proc Hyper Focus faster, it's honestly disgusting.

That would works if the surviver has a toolbox. This is not the only hyperfocus build that can do a gen in less then 40 seconds.
A surv with Corrective Action shouldn't be able to correct the missed skill checks from the other players who also have Corrective Action
