      @@gypsy547 MMA fighters and soldiers both step in on “The arena”, as gladiators would back in the day. Of course the difference between both of them is that a fighter is fighting to win the fight, putting his safety on the line. A soldier is fighting to kill and not be killed, pulling his life and the integrity of his own soul on the line.
      Regardless of politics or situational conditions that led one to be a soldier, any man who steps in on The Arena is worthy of respect.

      Billy Dunnigan... I'm so sorry for all you went through but I'm so proud that we have men like you in America. The guy in my pic with me is my Brother and he as well as my husband were Vietnam Veterans. Those were the hardest years of my life, until they came home at last ... I can't imagine how heavy it must've been for you.

    I just remember my son who passed away in 2008 telling me you gotta listen to this man named Johnny Cash,He made a cover of Hurt and a Bob Dylan song. I just smiled and giggled at him and took out my Folsom prison album, he was hooked!

    Johnny was one in a million. There will never be another like him in this life time. He was unique in all aspects of his life and he always did things his way. When I heard him cover Hurt by Nine Inch Nails, it made me love him and appreciate him even more. May he rest in peace.

      My mother's maiden name was Thomas, and she had a brother named Johnny Thomas. He was a lifer in the U.S. Navy, fought with our Soldiers against our enemies, in WW2, Korea, and Vietnam. He was killed in action in 1964. Ghost of Johnny Cash • "Knocking on Heaven's Door". • My mother liked Johnny Cash alot and listened to his Columbia Records lps recorded "Live at Folsom Prison", and "Live at San Quentin". • I was incarcerated at the old Steuben County Jail in '81 and became 'born again" then. I've been saved and sober for 39 years, with 2 times the national averages of all A.A. of America/Canada combined, verifiably for 30 years in a row • for these and numerous other miraculous reasons.

    Way back on the late 60s, early 70s, my grandpa listened to Johnny Cash
    & I thought it was the coolest music I'd ever heard. But at 8 years old, what did I know. I'm 60 now and I know that Johnny Cash may not have created the earth. But he sure as hell walked thru it like he did.

    I love it.Loved Cash since I was 4, 70 now and after all I have heard in life , in all the years after he passed away never thought I would hear a song that was really fitting for him But I believe this was the one he would have chosen .It fits him his style and for those of us who were blessed to know him even just a little ,we can tell you his love for his Mother was above all others except for GOD and June.Good pick .many thumbs up sir.

      Yep. Clark, Campbell, Lee-Lewis, Reid etc were amazing artists. Cash is on another level tho, immortal and still speaking to the free thinkers of today, and will be forever more. RIP Johnny Cash. x
