      @AJthe13th ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Mononymous, that was really insightful, I appreciate that intel a lot. It’s a good and effective counter to low-brow arguments and stuff that this guy is trying to pull.
      And I think this is useful for everyday life arguments and reasoning as well. It’s not a political statement or anything, not accusing any group of people of doing this - but sometimes in life, people try to divert the argument in bad faith or ignore your points in bad faith. This is incredibly well stated, by you, and I was looking for a way to define what he was doing. But that’s precisely what he was doing, he was ignoring points and arguments and trying to divert the conversation in BAD FAITH, which is obviously a key part.
      So thank you for defining that, it helped my understanding.
      Like you also said, when someone is doing this, you don’t play into their hand, you hold you own. Whether that can be like what this judge did, which is doubling down on her question and restating it, or like you brought up, we can just say “broken record” or “gray rock”.
      This is great intel that I’ll learn more about how to use as I grow as a young person. I don’t plan to respond “grey rock” whenever someone raises a point that I don’t like but, if someone is acting in bad faith and trying to divert the debate, then this is a great tool to have.
      I appreciate that starter knowledge.
      You’ve just added a brand new tool to my tool belt!
      Will do good things with it from here.

      @Jean Finch Brooks refusing to use the words "I understand" is a Sovereign Citizen thing. Apparently some of the SovCits think that they are being tricked into some sort of contract or recognition of authority when they are being asked if they understand something. AFAIK their non-logic is that understand = "stand under" = submission to authority.
      It's why Brooks consistently crossed out the words "I understand" on every form he was given and replaced them with "I am aware"; and I think it also explains Brooks' defiance when he refused to understand the judge: in his mind he is cleverly avoiding a trap being sprung on him by a sneaky judge trying to trick him into submitting to the court's authority.

    • @AliRadicali
      @AliRadicali ปีที่แล้ว

      @Jean Finch Having seen other SovCit filings, unfortunately I can believe that Brooks thought he had a bullet-proof legal defense. It seems a particularly attractive belief system to dimwitted, low-information narcissists, who can delude themselves they cracked the super-secret Da Vinci code that is law by browsing some kooky forum for half a day.
      I'm convinced Brooks fired his lawyers because they refused to make SovCit arguments in court, and I think his belief finally came undone toward the end of the evidentiary phase when he ended up forfeiting his right to testify.

      Well said.and VERY true. The compost heap he sprang up from is breeding a LOT more, unfortunately. My husband is a BN. I dubbed it " baby narcissist." He does dirty tricks to me to try to keep me unbalance. He does gaslighting, stonewalling, you name it. He never hit me but I would not be surprised if he did. I'm not in any "real" danger but I feel I have to keep my eyes open. I'll give you an example....last night, I discovered that the batteries in the thermostat that controls the heat were getting low. Now, that means that our heat would eventually cut off. Well, can't have that so, he's sitting on the couch reading and I said, the batteries need changing asap! He's like....wha??? I said....get up off your butt and get over here! I need help, where are the batteries for the thermostats? So he got them and replaced one in the hall. Another needed to be changed in the basement. He goes down there and I get this "odd" feeling like it's taking too long. I was about to shout.....what's taking so long? He comes up and I KEPT asking....where are the dead batteries??? He goes....I don't know. Now, he knew I would worry. So, I had to get the box of good batteries, go down to the basement and replace them again because I don't really know what he did and I can't take chances. I heard him walking around upstairs looking for the battery box and heard him say.....I don't believe she's wasting two batteries. Yeah, well, I would not have if he didn't play mind games. I guess his little scheme to hurt me bounced back at him. I tell ya, these kinds of people are more plentiful than I ever realized. Thank you for listening. GOD bless you. XXOO

I know there's nothing like contempt of court that can face him because of what he's facing but I would find some way to admonish him that would ultimately be humiliating to him... like taking his whittle box fort away did. He was happy to be an American and go by his name when it meant benefits, but when expected to follow one simple rule - don’t kill people (which is in the Bible he’s always going on about), he throws a year long tantrum about his rights, his consent, his feelings. No one else’s rights matter at all, not even an innocent boy who did nothing but march with his baseball team and big brother.
