Twitch, Zero, Brava, Maverick, Thatcher. And im sure theres more I rather find good ways to use these operators abilities to stop Kaid and Bandit than to continue the "throw an unreactable nade from safety" meta.
As for Tubarao he's the newest OP so he will be an exception and will definitely be strong and hard to deal with but that's nothing new

Plus, if you pull the pin on a grenade in real life, it ain’t gonna wait there patiently for you to throw it. Yes there is the swingy thing, but you can still ignore that and cook the grenade

I main zero he’s great since he’s kinda like a one man army with the gonne 6, hard breaches and the amazing low recoil assault rifle with the 1.5 and his great cams too

In emerald I've never seen anyone nade from below and all random teammates were amazed whenever I killed someone like that
I’ve seen it many times, and it’s not just nading from below that is effected by the removal of cooking
I think they need to buff overall Attackers
They should have Sledge counter Tuba with a couple of sledge hammer strikes should shatter the ice

@@adrioumario1369 you can do this with Zofia/Ash from below still as well, his point is that you need to get a Nade kill or the wall stays closed.
I’ll say the biggest annoyance about the frag change is Clash but I do agree with Ubi’s decision and it is more realistic as well.
maestro got a double buff, he got a new cam and the cams are much harder to clear bc they cant cook the nades its hard to nade cams that are place up high
Ikr? Isn't it great? He was practically useless before but now he can actually provide info as intended. I'm still waiting for a slight buff to console Maestro cause his cameras are difficult AF to aim with a controller for some reason. And considering I always have stick drift, I can't hit shit.

This was my biggest carry change to 'nades. The nerf needed to happen for the whole BS unplayable depth-charge thing, but I think their range of destruction needs to go up.
Idk man, a two second timer means an unexpected nade gets a kill and an expected nade does its job of forcing the enemy out of position.
If it does get a range buff, it should get a comparable damage decrease so it's not nearly as lethal. A range buff means more gadgets destroyed and more distance cleared and traveled by an enemy within its radius.

@@Jayzonny cuz i typed that be fore he mentions Maverick at the end and i found the capitao thing and zofia way too wild compared to using Mav specially before Tubarao

I am proudly one of the few Mavericks in the entire siege community who can make a thermite size breach all by myself(not just making it soft, i mean open open) and if i dont f**k it up which i usually dont, no one can shoot me through the torch cuts, except exhibition site on sky.
Other than that, the only thing i need is usually a pair of claymores which i usually bring myself, like my team dont have to allocate picks or utility to opening walls.

I learnt it from one of macies clips.
Its not easy but its not that hard.
But i think if we dont count mav in, the only way to open breaches like before is banning tubarao, which in turn frees up one of solis or fenrir which is huge for defenders
I'm pretty sure the torch mechanics are different either this season in general or when affected by tubarao, so it might not be as simple as you think now

Bruv nade nerfs are so unjustified, yes it can be very op without counter but i havent got naded from below in any rank lower than emerald, and even then it happened to me two times in a season. You get more kills with a nitro cell than a nade. Only pro players or genuine champs are good at it. I really hope they realize this in the future and reverse this update.
Nahh man, idk what lobbies you play in but in UAE, entire attack strats were made in Villa based on vertical nades. Literally always you'd get 1-2 kills on vertical nades in villa. I was apprehensive for the change but I think the game plays better now tbh
Hot take: Make thatchers emps a hard counter to jaegers and wamais, would make him a lot more relevant and versatile making players choose how they spend his utility
If you just give him one more emp and increase the range by ten percent then he remains very useful, he doesn't need to be a hard counter. The change to grenades means we'll have a lot more things that can be thrown during the round, and since Jaeger is kinda useless rn and and Wamai got nerfed by the grenade change, we really don't need to worry about them too much. Giving Thatcher one more emp and increasing its range a little allows the attackers to use it like a stun grenade for ALL opposing electronic gear. Traps will be ineffective, info will be shut down, and simple bonuses like prox alarms and sight reticles will be inactive. Maybe we don't need an extra emp grenade but increasing its range is a valid enough buff.

I feel like we are harping too much on ONE site in this ONE map in CCTV . Also we are looking at worse case scenarios of 3 operators on one wall so leaves 2 either anchoring or roaming and I just don’t think that’s realistic and we have more then just 2 operators that can destroy electro claws and bandit batteries

You make some great points, but it is a pro league mindset. Ranked will not play out like the 4d chess you’ve described for 99% of ranked games.
So basically if you just run tubarao bandit or a shield and some utility you're going to win your defenses

I hate the nade change. Sure is it done in most rounds in champ elo/pro league. Of course. But it’s not an issue for most of the player base and hell I don’t even die to nades below all that often in high elo. Just so stupid and as you said makes attacking even more of a nightmare.
I think they could've just reduced damage through floors and called it a day. Also make it so that nades can't be put back once the pin's been pulled. If that's not enough then continue to fine-tune them later on as needed.
Tbh even if your not doing them from below they are still op you can’t react to a cooked nade if it’s cooked correctly if you are dodging them that’s the attackers fault
@@Spurglar8769 c4s are a lot more op compared to nades, you hardly have time to escape them and any braindead defender can pull it off, no skill involved. Attacking is becoming pointless at this point.

@@Spurglar8769 in theory, yes. In reality getting kills with c4 are way easier then killing someone with nades. I barely get killed with nades, c4 in the other hand is very hard to dodge and can get preset in some places and easily get kills. The thing is: ubisoft is shit at balancing, that's why defense is braindead and attack is a nightmare

They literally just added attacker re-pick a few seasons ago. Plus Gonne-6, and now more attackers will get frags

Imo tubarao is overpowered and overtuned and he should be nerfed to only having 2 canisters instead of 4

Better to have ops be too strong at release than too weak. He'll get fine tuned the same way Ram did.
