For me had Mario Lanza the finenest and greatest tenor voice for ever! I habe a great collection of original signed autographed photos of him, also all original LP‘s and over 100 CD‘s and private photos of his family. I am very happy to know that it exists a wonderfull Museum of him. Very thanks!
Wow.....great stuff. I fly out of Philly when my wife and II go to Europe. Thanks to covid, our travel to Europe has been halted. But as soon as we can get on a plane to Europe, I will stop at this museum in Philly prior to my flight. I live in Houston. Jim Farrell
Beautiful homage to our Mario. I visited Philly in 2008 and I was fortunate to see the house on Christian St. I tried to gain access to the museum at that time but it was sadly closed. I'd visited from the UK and by the time I was able to get in touch with the museum, my flight was due. Someday (in Lanza's best singing voice) soon I hope
So wonderful to see heare how the Mario Lanza Institute has grown,years ago it was just starting out ,,next door to the Church where Lanza sang as a boy,,,we went to the MarioLanza Ball at the Doubletree in 2005 Hotel. Meat his son Damon the 2nd time we went ,,the fi rst in 1960 meeting his grandfather Salvatore at that very grocery store downstairs ,, grandfather at the grocery store,downstairsfrom where he lived on Christian St 636,, received a letter from his mom ,followed his life since I was 6 years,waching the Great Caruso 2 times,, was on fathers shoulds ,cause it was so crowded,we were standing in the back of Radio City Music.Hall,,,I followed everyoment of his life,,,,
Mario Lanza is in my opinion a phenomenon like no other, a 1-derful singer who lived only 38 years and had a short 10 years movie career in which he achieved incredible recognition while inspiring great artists internationally. Glad to know about this entity and its mission to encourage and promote young singing promises all over the world. Blessings from a Lanza fan in San Juan 🇵🇷.
