In a derby you sing 90 minutes and you sing loud and proud. Nothing worse than having a full force atmosphere and having nothing to sing against. I'm a Blackburn fan and we're far from the best fans in England but when it comes to derby day against the dingles we're full force and loud as anyone, home or away. Poor effort by Southampton.

I've spoke to a lot of people from southampton and most who aren't suffering with blind faith have claimed that southampton as a club never draw you in, there's nothing that really makes you want to become a southampton fan. Hence all the man utd/chelsea/liverpool/arsenal fans, where as in Portsmouth, you're born blue!
