I wasn't there when the yachts were being berthed before the show, and I can't say I paid too much attention to the mooring arrangements anyway,. However I suspect the lines are to small kedge anchors rather than to main bower anchors.
If we weren't spending our money on toys and such there wouldn't be as many jobs for the average folks. When have hearts, give generously to a lot of charities, and spend our money more during economic down turns in an effort to spur spending all around. Would you rather we stash our money, hid in our homes, and drive our "old" cars? No! You want us to spend. It's the ONLY way to spur growth in any economy. Yes, there is a few who get richer off the pain of others and hoard their money.

LOL...There is never a recession to these millionares/billionares. The rest of the world is in a depression as of now.
