- This was my first time using the Japanese proxy service, Neokyo, and I recorded my screen through the whole process of ordering, consolidating, and shipping my orders, so hope it will be helpful to anyone who has been considering using Neokyo and maybe make your experience a little easier and less stressful! Thanks for watching!

my friend uses Neokyo and seems to like it. I was surpised with how easy it was to navigate. I never ordered from a proxy before but Im pretty sure I'm gonna need it in the near future.
Excellent tutorial! I've learnt a lot.
Omg I just placed my first order and I’m so freaking excited HYSYAUAUSUSU
Thank you so much for making this video! 💗 I’ve been so hesitant in starting the whole process to buy using a proxy but you really eased my worries with this! It seems super straightforward and I like that they also provide lots of help and recourses as well! Can’t wait to see your unboxing of your package, saw some really awesome things! 🥰 And I hope I can use Neokyo some day as well! I already know of some items I’d love to try and get 🤭 And now it’s just waiting to see if it’ll show on Mercari Japan since it can change day by day!
the free! thing i was so happy seeing free omggg
Thank you for this video! I recently used Neokyo to buy a few books from KyoAni (after having trouble with the proxy they use), and it worked out great.
I'm glad it went smoothly for you! ☺
My God, what a way to explain so easily! Thank you very much for the video. As someone who has already purchased from buyee and neokyo, which one do you recommend more?
When it comes to “processing merchant payment” is it truly something to worry about? From how you describe it, it sounds as if you and someone else were to purchase at relatively the same time it doesn’t matter who purchased first, but is dependent on who neokyo approves first? 😅
thanks so much for demonstrating this. they might have my favorite UI of any proxy site. I like buying smaller things, so fees on sites like b*yee add up fast. i think neokyo is a better option for me!
thank you for the video.
Thanks for sharing
Once your item is in the warehouse, do they send or provide you an image of your items to make sure it's not lacking some of the content? Thank you for this!
Hi, Great video. Curious though, after you made the payment for the international shipping, how long did it take them to ship the consolidated package? Did they ship the next day for example? Buyee has been really great, in my experience. They always ship super fast. They also Consolidate very fast. In my experiences anyways. Also, their Coupons do not have a really low Max Limit (like 3,000 Yen for example). One order for example, was for around 150,000 Yen, and I saved around 30,000 Yen on that item, due to the Coupon I had (think it was a 20% off Coupon), so that is another great thing about Buyee.
Does debit card works as payment? I'm honestly not using Paypal and I don't have credit cards as well.
Hello! I bought some considerable big things from Neokyo, electric guitars, and I wonder if your package had the invoice with the HS codes. I heard that customs might require that information.
Update to the add to wallet feature. You still are charged a percentage fee AND 40 yen when you use a card or paypal to add money to your wallet. Cant be avoided really unless you know beforehand how much the total process is going to cost you before adding money to the wallet , then maybe you'd save on fees. But currently there isnt a way to know ahead of time full costs for shipping etc because even with the estimator youd have to know how heavy and big the item youre paying for is going to be and thats up to the seller.
How long does it take for neokyo to buy items?
Can you use Mastercard to buy not paypal? That Stripe thing is it not a scam Is Stripe trustworthy to use to pay?
If you add money to your wallet is there a fee if you decide to take it out? I really want to avoid credit card fees and plan to purchase in bulk in the future but I want to trust their wallet feature pros over any possible cons😅 thanks
What country are you from? do you think this is cheaper compared to buyee?
Have you bought from Rakuten Rakuma before??
Can I do this in mobile?
When Fedex deliver the order for you, do you need to sign to receive the package? I worry because I will not at home in the day time
Usually yes! That was the case for me every time. If you’re not home they usually re-attempt delivery before bringing it to a pick up point
I have a question! So I have some things I want to purchase off of Neokyo, specially Mericari, but I don't actually have the money to purchase it just yet. But, at the same time, I don't even know how much the final cost would be because of all the fees/shipping. So I guess I have 2 questions lol
1. If I create a buy request on all the things I want to get, will it tell me the total cost of it all (fees/shipping included)
2. If not, is there a way to see the total cost (I have a wishlist)
I'm confused about one thing. How long does it take for my order to go from Pending orders to In storage?
It moves to "in storage" when the item arrives at the Neokyo warehouse, so it depends on how long it takes for the item to arrive after being shipped from the seller 👍
@@KKchanisaGirl yea I figured it out because the delivery time is taking longer than it should from seller to storage but I'm fine with it
Have you ordered from zenmarket ?
I haven't!
is there a way to contact the sellers???
Not through Neokyo, but I imagine you could message sellers if you made an account on Mercari Japan 🤔
Heya! do you know if Neokyo has any handling fees for depositing to the wallet? i cant find any info on the page and couldnt catch it on the video (im making a proxy service comparison document to share with the comunity)
I haven't used that feature yet, so I'm not sure!
cant wait for the document!
@@Land_of_nod didnt get the notif lol , google "japan proxy comparison list", its the first reddit post , i havent updated it though
Yes there is a 3.6% + ¥40 deposit fee. Neokyo has the lowest conversion fees of any proxy and that is basically they use the curent value of the Japanese Yen BUT because of this deposit fee, it makes Neokyo more expensive than Buyee. Neokyo however has longer free storage, but Buyee is a lot more reliable in saving money in the long run ESPECIALLY from Mercari orders.
TYSM!! I was a bit hesitant to buy from Neokyo because I’ve never used a proxy service before. But you explained it so easily and answered all my questions!! 🫶
