The more I see of Sanders the greater I view him. In his prime he was totally dominant. He would shut, even great, WR’s down. He wasn’t the total wrecking ball that LT was, but he was probably the most dominant CB of all time. He had that in credibility to catch up with receiver and intercept or bat down the ball.
You forgot to mention Tim Brown! Shit Deion had a rough, rough & busy day at the office & based on what I saw, he did pretty damn good! The 40 doesn't measure how fast you run because the really fast don't reach top speed til after 50m out. All sprinters were faster in college than in the pros, because they were training to sprint. When they get to the pro's they are not sprint training any more so they are not getting any faster.

At that time there weren’t “Pleanty” of players faster than the Rocket. He was clocked at a high 4.2 the 40. There aren’t many players faster than him now. Deon also ran down Bo Jackson when he was at Auburn and Bo was clocked at 4.1. Yes, Prime’s speed was INSANE!

Like I said Rocket had him beat ball was thrown on the wrong side of the field watch the replay. Me and my dad and his 2 friends went to this game and I remember being pissed off we lost. After this game we ended up losing the rest of the games that year.

Deion was a smart ball player, very fast and could read a deep ball. Sucked in the open field and if you study Deion’s defense once he recognized that it was a deep ball he would hold very early in the play that would slow down the receivers. He’s done it his whole career which is very smart in my opinion because 9 times out of 10 the official will not see it. Still a very talented player. But like most greats he’s been burned quit a few times also

That interception was just a bad throw by the QB. Not to take anything from Deion great play. But he should live kept leading his receiver further left so he can make a play on the ball. Instead he threw it above his head where Deion had the better position
TheRaisinHead he did have him beat, he threw it in the wrong area, Deion was already running upfield. Why not throw it left side of the hash where only his receiver can make a play? When you watch the replay it was plenty of room to throw to the other side of the field, we know Deion is fast but it’s no way he would’ve intercepted the pass.
Sherrod Joyce hard to say for sure being that they tried a few more times that game and it didn’t work. Definitely would’ve been a better pass had he threw it to the inside. But our view up here can be better than the players at times.

Jett was definitely faster than Sanders. But Sanders is definitely fast, but what separates him from most is how well he could track the ball. Thats where Jett struggled the most, he would always out run the ball, then later would try to slow down then be to far behind it. He was still a great player though.

Like I said Rocket had him beat ball was thrown on the wrong side of the field watch the replay. Me and my dad and his 2 friends went to this game and I remember being pissed off we lost. After this game we ended up losing the rest of the games that year.

Sucked in the open field and if you study Deion’s defense once he recognized that it was a deep ball he would hold very early in the play that would slow down the receivers. He’s done it his whole career which is very smart in my opinion because 9 times out of 10 the official will not see it. Still a very talented player. But like most greats he’s been burned quit a few times also

Meaning they never ran faster. They were running in a final during a track meet. They practice very hard to run very fast. To think they were not running their hardest during the time they ran their fastest is not logical. the times are not subjective. They are concrete facts.

When you watch the replay it was plenty of room to throw to the other side of the field, we know Deion is fast but it’s no way he would’ve intercepted the pass.

Jett was definitely faster than Sanders. But Sanders is definitely fast, but what separates him from most is how well he could track the ball. Thats where Jett struggled the most, he would always out run the ball, then later would try to slow down then be to far behind it. He was still a great player though.
