      It wasn't creepy but true mystery of the "Unknown World" or the "Spirit World" which I believe strongly. I am a Christian but believe in miracles because of Jesus Christ was a true miracle world and what more can I say but to know he is the son of God which allow things to happen in this world for a reason too.

      To me that would be frightening about the "Ouija Board" which is scary and can be a way into the other world, but people don't know one must be respectful of things they don't know because it can cause problems for those playing with things they have no knowledge of them.

      Unfortunately, it is true. One PBS series "The Yellow Paper wall actually happened from the 19th Century, where a wife was denied seeing her children after they claimed she was under depression and kept her from her children, having pencils and papers where her depression made her mad. There was no asylum but was kept in a room by herself. She was denied any communication with anyone including her children. Miserable lot these so-called medical men were of the so-called 19th Century professional field. I can't even watch it again because it is too degrading what they did to this wife of this prominent man. She eventually got out and divorced her husband and wrote stories of her experience during that time.

    "The ghost with the most", acting in this episode was great, what so great about the writing, is how they can say things without really saying them, they did not dumb things down to the audience, we find out that the husband is sterile, and there is no love in the relationship, we also find out that the husband does not care if she has an affair, as long as she keeps it discrete. all those things were said in a round about way.

      In England, men like Harrison are not gay, they're bachelors that refuse to give in to a woman, the only thing they want is their money and estate. So if they can get rid of them, they would, not to murder, but to an asylum. Those men are awful and only deserve to go to prison. The spirit was someone there to be kind to her when she needed him most. I wish I had a Jeremy. It's a lot nicer than being alone.

    • @413lm
      @413lm 4 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      Gay is right! That's why she said, "when I found out about you" not her or the women. That's why she brought up the fact she was out on a Friday night and him being out every Friday night. Also, his reaction to her saying they never had kids, he felt she was saying it was his fault, but not due a medical reason. Plus, he basically told her he didn't care what she did, just needed to be discreet, as if at this stage in their marriage, they have an unspoken arrangement.

I'm guessing your arrogance is going to serve as an open invitation so _your_ lesson is probably not too far around the corner.
      When you are in the tribulation of discovering that evil operates in a way beyond anything you bargained for or can control......mark these words:
      Jesus Christ is the Son of God who laid down His life and resurrected from the dead to conquer that evil and to free you from your bondage to it and death ... if you repent to Jesus, He alone can free you from what you will face... but don't wait too long, you have been warned, you do not know when or how you will die and once _that happens_ it's too late.

      Lord Jesus Christ have mercy on me and please forgive me, a sinner.

    On second watch, I think old Harrison is impotent. He got really upset when she mentioned that they had no children and he accused her of not missing a chance to rub that in so it must have been his fault. He's still an ass.

      More like gay. That's why she said, "when I found out about you" not her or the women. That's why she brought up the fact she was out on a Friday night and him being out every Friday night. Also, his reaction to her saying they never had kids, he felt she was saying it was his fault, but not because he was impotent or sterile. Plus, he basically told her he didn't care what she did, just needed to be discreet, as if at this stage in their marriage, they have an unspoken arrangement.

    This was a clever story and very fun to watch. If it is based on a true story, I say the husband this was based on was gaslighting his wife (doing things to make the maid and/or the wife think she was crazy) and then he killed her and claimed she ran off with someone. Or better yet, the wife was making the husband think she was crazy, but she really ran off with a lover.

McDonald's didn't arrive till the 60s and these OSB were made in the 40s and 50s. ALSO--- everything was clean!! No garbage and little all over the place!! My cousin's son had a friend like that in the old house they live in. I don't know if he still has him, he's still a child, but it was interesting that it was a spirit. That maid did exactly what she could get away with, not more, no less. For every kick in the tail she needed but didn't get, the heroine deserves one too.

    I really enjoy "One Step Beyond". Terrific stories, actors, scenery, and host. However, the volume is a bit too low in this video. My phone volume is on high.
