metaphase to anaphase transition -> APC degrades inhbitor of separinf and therefore activating dperain. allows chromosome to be segregtaed to the 2 poles - in the anapjhse stage. what happens went the tension is uneven - or MT is unevenly placed. MAD2 is one sensor thatat inhibit the APC thereby the anaphase promoting complex can not activate seperain. so cohesin cant be brokenand the cell cannot segregate chromosomes into anaphse. so M to A is blocked. when MT not properly engaged the cell needs to pause it.
Could you please help me by sharing my contents with your friends group/ college group. I put huge efforts in making these videos but unfortunately not a lot of people are watching this.
Cohesin is only present in the kinetochore because polo- like and Arora B enzymes breaks off the Scc1 units of cohesins elsewhere. These enzymes won't be able to attack the cohesin at kinetochore because of the presence of phosphatase. and APC ubiquitinates securin letting the separase break the Scc1 of Cohesin

Excellent class dear sir. Dear sir I have one question.which is more correct, Question is How many check point in cell cycle. 3 or 4 I learnt earlier that only 3 check point.that is G1,G2 and metaphase to anaphase check point.kindly reply
Hello..thank you for the video..I am preparing for the CSIR net n looking for my doctorate in neurobiology. Can you guide me for the same as a neurobiologist pls.
I have taken all the details from original research articles.... in text books it’s not depicted in a proper fashion... in harvey Lodish’s book it’s somewhat better
As the name suggests it helps in chromosome condensation and higher order folding after prophase during metaphase,in fact out of many factors ,condensins and cohesins make the metaphase chromosome so nicely packed.
I am a master student in the UK and this video answered my exam question at Excellent level... Thanks

@@animatedbiologywitharpan dude that has to have been SO much work
respect!
good video!
Good day sir. I wanted to ask what would happen if cohesin was lost before metaphase?
Cohesins are not lost before chromosome separation because there is no mechanism for doing that.
Very helpful ... thank you

So, what is the function of condensins?
As the name suggests it helps in chromosome condensation and higher order folding after prophase during metaphase,in fact out of many factors ,condensins and cohesins make the metaphase chromosome so nicely packed.
What is molecular basis of cell cycle. Plz give answer
Please check out my cell bio playlists where you would find many videos regarding cell cycle control by cycling and cdk ,maturation promoting factor
