I'm so inspired. I'm 6 months on my transition journey. I've had different emotions about it. But watching your video made me realize how beautiful our natural hair is and I'm not going to give up my decision to go natural.

Your hair looks good. I'm doing this now for the 2nd time. I did go back to relaxing after being natural for 4 years. Like you said "this ish is hard". It really is hard. Washing, conditioning, and detangling took me 2 hours because my hair fell pass my shoulder blades. I hate it but relaxers make my hair so weak & brittle so Id rather deal with the long process of washing than having thin damaged hair.
CONGRATS 🎉 on your Big Chop!!! Trust the process! It take a minute to learn your hair/porosity, what your hair likes/doesn’t like. But, you’ll get there!!! After my Big Chop in 2015, it took me a solid year to perfect my Wash n Gos. They were cool around 9mos or so, but at about a year in us when I’d mastered them.
Looks great and gives me hope! I’m 2-3 months in and it is hard! I’m ready to chop it off already! Thanks for the video 🙂
