    I get over your way every couple of years hire a car and travel and tent camp ,it’s a great country for doing this

    They say real Texas Chili doesn’t have beans but I’m not sure where this came from. I’m born and raised 4th generation Texan and have always had beans in my chili and love it. Great video. I’m planning a New Mexico mountain trip this summer.

      Haha I was waiting for this comment to come up. I never had beans in my chili, but my wife always did. We have this conversation every time chili is made haha. Let me know if I can help in any way. I haven’t spent as much time there as some people, but I don’t mind helping with what I know.

    Heading to Cloudcroft in a few weeks. Can you tell me what area you found your campsites in? They looked secluded and beautiful!

      Our favorite spots from this trip were south of town out on the forestry roads. We didn’t see any bad campsites while out driving around. Enjoy
