It's so fine that TH-cam keeps showing us some of your older videos, so we get to enjoy them again, appreciate things we may have missed the first time around. It's amazing how you're able to produce such fine pieces every week.
AWE....What a great honeymoon you had. You are the sweetest couple ever. Much happiness as you share your life together. Thanks for letting us tag along.
I got to West Thumb one morning before the sun came up in early September a few years back. The temp was around 30 degrees F and only one other person showed up. Just want to say I got the most incredible pictures as darkness turned to daylight. Best photos ever for me anywhere. A photographer I am not but I had luck going my way that day. My memory of West Thumb is really nothing like on this clip. It was a windless morning and steam rising and the sun backlighting it all as it arose above the mountains and Yellowstone Lake. Incredible! A little later I had breakfast with me on the tailgate of my small pickup backed up to a small cliff by the shoreline of the lake. What a memory! Enjoyed your Yellowstone trip but the crowds do take so much away from it. Later in the day i waded into one of the rivers and got clean and refreshed. Many Thanks for the adventure.
Thanks to both of you for bringing us along. Cassie brings a new dynamic to your videos. I hope she joins you on many trips in the future. Best wishes to you both.
I spent my honeymoon in Yellowstone in 1973. It was fun. We floated from Big Springs to Mack's Inn while the salmon we're spawning. They were brilliant orange like goldfish and huge. In places we couldn't see the river bottom due to so many salmon. It was gorgeous with the clearest water imaginable. It was fun to tour the park and see Old Faithful and the Inn there. I remember as a child the Native American Cheifs and women in full regalia in the store there. That was the highlight of the store. How sad it was when they stopped having them in that historic gift shop. They brought a history alive in that beautiful setting which was once their land.
You guys are a treat to share your time together! A couple years on & I hope nothing but the best for you! The clarity of the water, the sounds of the mudpots & Cascade Falls were probably all my favorites. Thanks again ~
LOVE THIS VIDEO!! I used to work at Jackson lodge. Made my heart soar to see my old stomping grounds. “Lunch Tree Hill” ♥️ and Signal Mountain what a view. Thank you both for taking us along. Cassie is so beautiful. Always smiling and so upbeat. Congratulations to you both. Cheers 🥂
I was so glad you stayed for the geyser eruption. It was very cool. The Tetons are amazing! Overall, I enjoyed the honeymoon series and will have to refer back to your videos when I make my my plans to visit. 💕
I have never been to Yellowstone but you Tristan had the best video ever. The Geyser was awesome. I would walk/hike to there & bring some food & a magazine to wait for the geyser to erupt. There is something like that on a very modest scale in NV, somewhere North of Gerlach near Burning Man. Can be scorching hot.
When I first moved from Pennsylvania to Louisiana, and then to North Carolina, I was taken back a bit by what constitutes a river. Not being critical, but most would get labeled creeks or brooks in PA.
Very nice, the wife and I did a honeymoon NP circuit, 30 days 12,000 miles. Yellowstone is my favorite place on earth. Mosquitoes winter in snowbanks and emerge in swarms as the snow melts, been there done that lol.
wish you two many, many happy decades together.....seeing this one makes me miss Montana sooo much! Spent 16 wonderful yrs there....had many fond trips to Yellowstone....you guys need to go to Glacier National Park
Thanks for showing close ups of the wildlife. Did you take bear spray with you on the lone star walk? Thanks for showing the eruption, I did not know about this one.
Great video and a wonderful reminder of our visit there in September of 2015! Thank you! You showed us parts of Yellowstone we didn’t get to see on the main tourist trails.... But my favourite bit is still the Grand Teton National Park. The views along the road north of Jackson are extraordinarily beautiful .. We now have an enlarged photo of Mt Moran across Jackson Lake on our family room wall (in South Australia) - as a daily reminder. Belated congratulations to you both! A beautiful couple...
Thankyou for your inspirational video of your honeymoon camping trip! I now want to go see the Grand Tetons! Hope you beautiful young couple are well a year later!
Oh wow, such stunning views!!! Just incredible! I do have one question.....do bison shed their fur? That one sure looked like it. I have really enjoyed this series. I know you and Cassie had a fun time!
We love your videos and will be heading to Tetons and Yellowstone in about 3 weeks. I remember one of your videos that you camped on Grassy Reservoir just outside the park and did a hike into Yellowstone near there. Which video is it as we wanted to watch it again and maybe go there to camp one night. Thanks, Vicki
Hi Just watched this vid@ I was in west Yellowstone and Yellowstone the last two weeks of June 2018. Loved it. First time, did all the tourists things but did a couple overnight backpack trips. I must see it again so I can l see more. Thanks for the tips.
The little bubbling pools of water are cool as is the geyser! One of these days I wish to visit Yellowstone. It's on my bucket list for sure. TFS some bits your honeymoon with us :-)
The Grand Tetons look amazing! I have been to Yellowstone, you know I preferred the smaller sites which were less crowded and just as interesting in their own way. Thanks for sharing your honeymoon with us. Enjoyed watching and meeting Cassie.
Beautiful mountains scenes I enjoyed it so much . Love your videos I am so glad to find your channel I just recently subscribed and I have enjoy very much all the adventures Beautiful couple I wish you the best
I live 80 miles from both the N and W entrance to the Park. We never go there after early May until Sept. But the last 10 years Sept has been crowded with rude folks that don't mind walking right in front of your tripod. Man, if it isn't the tourists it's the mosquitoes.
Very stunning views…thanks for sharing your videos. Loved Cassie’s hiking hat. What brand is it? You guys make an adorable couple. Hope my husband and I can travel to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons some time.
Now that’s the honeymoon! Forget Paris, road trip honeymoon is the way to go! So, I’m going to seem like a spoiled brat but we hit the Yellowstone and Tetons on the way home from Banff/jasper and it just felt meh. Maybe we were worn out or the hordes of people but it just seemed way too commercial. I really enjoyed this series. It was a different dynamic which made it interesting. Looking forward to the next set. Btw hope recovery is going well! ✌🏼
It looks like there are some awesome places to go kayaking in this footage. Do you know if there are kayaking camping spots along any of the lakes that you showed both in Yellow Stone and the Grand Teton’s? Thanks! Beautiful scenery!
I don't think you're allowed to camp on the banks of these particular lakes. But there are plenty of lakes in the area that are outside of the national parks that you could camp on.
Favourite video! Amazing! I do have some questions: do the bubbling pools of mud/water have a noticeable smell? Can you feel heat from the hot pools or geysers as you approach them? How close can you get to the buffaloes and elks? I notice you are both wearing jackets in Yellowstone: how warm does it get in summer? The Grand Tetons scenery was incredible. This video is so good.
Thanks, glad you liked the video! Yes, there's a bit of a sulfur/rotten eggs smell. I don't remember really feeling any heat except for when you walk through the steam that comes from them. You're not supposed to get close to the deer or elk or bears or any of the other wildlife there. They're wild animals and are dangerous. But a lot of them are right next to the road, so you drive right past them. We were only a few feet from that elk. In the summer it gets to be in the low 80s F (high 20s C). The whole area is relatively high in elevation, hence the cooler temperatures. The geyser we went to is at about 7600 feet (2300 meters). But yes, Yellowstone and the Tetons are absolutely incredible. Very wild country still.
I just wonder if anyone brings rowdy kids to visit the boiling springs 😳. Looks like an accident waiting to happen. As someone who hates crowds, you are my kind of people lol.

I'd do it again!

I used to work at a gift shop in West Yellowstone as a teen. What an experience especially if a bear was in town!!!
This is my 2nd favorite geyser. To me Grand Geyser is the star of the park.
She is wonderful, her face you can tell she enjoy Nature's Wonders..Thank You both!
Yep she does. Thanks for watching!

Yellowstone national park one of my favorite camping place
Great video! Glad it was successful! Loved that Geyser!
Madison Junction!!!! My old stomping grounds! Thx for this Tristan!

The Fire Hole river is one of the spots in Yellowstone where you can swim. Get their early...
That spot has been closed for years now
wish you two many, many happy decades together.....seeing this one makes me miss Montana sooo much! Spent 16 wonderful yrs there....had many fond trips to Yellowstone....you guys need to go to Glacier National Park

Thanks for showing close ups of the wildlife. Did you take bear spray with you on the lone star walk? Thanks for showing the eruption, I did not know about this one.
Yes, I had bear spray with me. You can see it in a pocket on my backpack shoulder strap.
ah man the raspberry shakes in Bear Lake is a must stop on the way to Jackson.
Really enjoying watching your videos. Great adventures keep the hearts young and full of love. Congratulations to you and your lovely wife.

Don't worry, there are other videos with the two of us still to come ☺️
I stumbled on this "old" video recently. I can't believe it's been 3 yrs already. So how long have I been following you?? Congrats.

I like your comment about getting ahead of the “tourists”! My husband feels the same way when we’re traveling in that area or anywhere in S UT. Lol
Congratulations , I really enjoy your videos thanks for sharing.
Thanks Anna!

Shrug. Everyone's mileage varies. Glad you enjoyed the series. Thanks for watching!
Streams and creeks empty into rivers, rivers run to the ocean.
Beautiful!
Congratulations!
Cassie is beautiful. You are a lucky man.
Great trip and videos ! We made the " Great shake mistake by the Lake". Ordered larges and ate them all. Yummy though!
Sounds like my kind of mistake!
Thanks for sharing..Venture On..
Thanks Robert!

With all the recent geologic activity there, I'd stay as far away from yellowstone as I could.
Cassie is SO cute in her hat.
God bless you both in your marriage
Thanks!
"can I get the mmm things" LOL 1:35
Nice video
Thanks!
I just wonder if anyone brings rowdy kids to visit the boiling springs 😳. Looks like an accident waiting to happen. As someone who hates crowds, you are my kind of people lol.
好幸福呀
Half of all the mud pots in the world are in Yellowstone Nat'l Park.
I believe it!
We are similar when it comes to crowds. My wife picks at me all the time and says it is too peoplee out there for me. Lol
Wow...
He likes people as much as I do. Lol.
👍👍
Gross Ventri 12 miles outside of Jackson is never full never buggy camped there many times
Get you a Subaru, you won't be sorry...
"love to see a bear..."REALLY? 8:38
Yeah, I love seeing bears. I've seen probably 10 over the years.
First
👍
Congratulations!
