There is something unique, beautiful about the song, it's full of life in all ways, happiness and sadness. Here is me 27 guy who tried to find his way in life yet think yesterday was a good day. This song just hit different and forever will be stuck on my head. One of my top 5 lyrical songs
Immense song, kind of reminds me of the period in my life of childhood into adulthood, reflection and thoughts that brings. Also big reminder of my Dad who sadly passed.
I am sorry for your loss ! Your dad must had been so special to you! I wish if I could tell you more about this song ! This song meant to Jon so much !!! I have a very special memory of this song with Jon ! Please remember Jon Lee ! You got it so right right there ! Childhood into adulthood . This song reflects that for sure !! Right on the spot !👍💜🥁🐉🎵🎤🎶💞
Daniel Foxlander I remember when he committed suicide :( I was driving and listening to the radio, and it absolutely broke me :( and then they played this :( :(
Please remember Jon forever ! He was the sweetest man I've ever known .He never slapped his wife ! He was the last man on earth to do such a thing ! Thank you for remembering Jon Lee ! 💜🥁🐉🎤
Hey, 2019 and I'm here! First heard it recently in a cafe not far from campus. This song is everything about the past for me. The early years of college mostly. The bitter sweet memories...
From the first time I see them at v96 to Brixton academy on March 17th this year this band makes me cry with their beautiful songs I cherish a piece of memorabilia I have which is a signed flyer for their debut "swim" signed by Grant take and the late Jon lee
I know I sound like my father did when I was a kid but the current crop of music we are being subjected to is terrible, computer generated auto tuned crap that has no value. I had no idea at the time, but this era, when feeder was common, was the end, the closing stages of 50 years of quality, passionate music and it has now been replaced by a corrupted industry who only care about money while bands like this have turned to the underground to continue.
@Matt, I couldn't agree more. Such true words. I'm so glad I grew up to music like Feeder. @Billsama, for me there's 90% bs coming out today. When I look at the Top 100 I could puke all day long. You really have to look for the good stuff nowadays. So sad. We'll never again experience such high quality content like in the 90s. But that's just my two cents...
@@SoloKeeper47 There is always 90% bs coming out at any one time. Old stuff has just already been filtered for us, with the bad stuff from those eras forgotten. But due to the sheer amount of music created now, there is more good music than ever even if most is lackluster. Check out the Yussef Dayes with Tom Misch album that just came out. Or check out Mammal Hands.
i had the honor of seeing them with my love, was at rock city nottingham, england. it was 14th feb, 2017 i think. My love passed away last year, feb 14th 2020. this song brings to tears, but i so love Feeder, thank you for the music :)
Amazing how certain bands make generic dull music and they get millions of views yet bands like feeder or manic street preachers get hardly any views in comparison and their music is far more superior most of the time. The music industry makes no sense.
The most underrated band in the last 20 years.Great songs which never age.
couldnt agree more
"I know it's just a dream, but I'm alive"
Fuck, that is a powerful line.
One of the most underrated songs of the Feeder catalogue which in itself is underrated
Well said ❤
Why doesn't this have more views? Feeder were one of the cornerstones of my adolescence!
Who cares? Just enjoy it
@@Some-kid-called-David Mags cares? You can see that from their comment.
@@theTAINman not sure why though. The fact that more people don’t share your view of the song shouldn’t make a difference
Memories from the 2000! Feeder is unique with their own style. Cold, sadness and warm.

Maybe top 10-type stuff. But there is an insane amount of good music coming out now, perhaps more than ever
