I have one( never used from Japan) that is over 60-100 years old.They were also used for smoking tobacco later on after the war. They would sometimes stick a lit cigarette in the hole and then smoke the cigarette threw the pipe. The bowl is very tiny on them.

That is a clothes iron, the little enamel handled pot is an old Asian iron. Coals were placed inside the pot and the flat bottom of the pot was used press the clothes.

We have 8 mm videos thanks to my grandpa who worked for the railroad and dragged me and my brother along on trains and stuff. But it’s a chore setting that up to watch. Kids are pretty lucky. As an artist I hit the Goodwill Stores to purchase frames for my artwork. But, I always make time to wander through the collectible aisles for a good resale buy.
