I've now added the link to the description. I'm mostly studying them on Seterra, where I start by mastering the "pin" game mode and then move on to the "type" game mode to really get the spellings down. Then you need lots of repetition... For that, I use both Seterra and JetPunk. Quizzes like this one are nice because everything is contained in one place. The disadvantage is that it's too lenient. The "type" gamemode on Seterra, on the other hand, is very unforgiving. Another fantastic resource is this wikipedia page: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_administrative_divisions_by_country It gets updated and serves as a great hub for all kinds of additional information. I hope that helps
I'm just so flabbergasted how you remembered not just in Asia but elsewhere, it's the most impressive things I've ever seen. I'm really looking forward to Europe, I'm recently picking places where learning the subdivisions is easiest. Very well done.
Thanks :) Yeah, Europe was certainly easier to learn for me (slightly counteracted by sheer volume...) as most languages are somewhat familiar and usually use the Latin script.
INSANELY IMPRESSIVE! I randomly got this in my recommended feed, and wow, the fact that you'll do this for every continent is amazing. Is this just a hobby? (subscribed btw)
Native Arabic speaker here, shamaliyyah means northern instead of north in MSA, but you pronounced the lebanese accent/dialect word for it very well. although, in some levant dialects, the word for left (the direction) is very similar, so you actually said the lebanese arabic word for left (shmal, or shmeil with the accent)
I remember attempting to complete naming all of the subdivisions, starting with Europe, and I got pretty far on that. I haven't been doing it recently due to other important stuff in my life, but I will return to these quizzes one day. Awesome job on completing this, it takes a LOT of patience and memory to do this, going through half of Europe was pretty tough enough.
Thanks, I really appreciate that. And yes, it certainly takes patience... Especially for the countries whose subdivisions just look like a random jumble of letters x.x
As a geography nerd, who know all countries and capitals, I am very proud of you!!! Do you want to play Sporcle tests? They are very interesting, like " All countries containing letter 'N' ". Also, sorry, but including last events, 🇷🇺Russia has 89 subjects
Thanks! I do play those kinds of quizzes occasionally when I want some more light-hearted fun :) And yes, I was going to add an asterisk with a bit of extra info on that but forgot...
Im almost at the point where i can get 100% on the 270+ flags on seterra. I would like a quiz with more flags tho. Then tackle one of these subdivision quizzes. Maybe the 1444 map of europe first tho as its a fun jumbled mess😂
Well, because I'm still not sure (which is starting to stress me out), and there is now an expectation that I'll keep going, I'm considering doing a community poll to see what people are even interested in. I've been somewhat surprised by all the positive feedback and didn't really plan ahead 😅
Yes, this quiz is on *first-level* administrative divisions. Provinces are the *second-level* administrative divisions of the Philippines. I know that many people probably expect provinces, but those will have to be covered in a separate video, I'm afraid.
Can you tell me please from where you learn them ?
And can you give me the link to this game

@MercateerGeo thank you so much. This link is very excellent and has so much information about countries

Underrated, you need way more subscribers, good job on all those subdivisions.
After watching this and remembering that people think Africa is a country
@soulbreaker2668 yoy broke my soul as promised...
As a Cambodian, I’m impressed that you know all the Cambodian provinces and your pronunciation sounds like a native!!
Thanks! It did take a bit of practice 😅
21:23 Fun fact: The Tel Aviv and center provinces are nicknamed "Gush dan"(Dan cluster in English) because that's where all the big cities are located
I didn't know that, thanks for the trivia!
I'm really surprised about your skill to remember every single province!
Great Job dude!👌
I'm from Thailand 🇹🇭 And you can speak the name of the province very well. Even though its accent is similar to Japanese. You've done well.
Thanks, that means a lot! I think all Southeast Asian languages sound really cool, but they're also very different to anything I'm used to.
@@MercateerGeo I know it's hard for everyone. But to you it looks easy
Thank you for replying to my comment and I will subscribe to you 🎉

In arabic north is “Shamal”
and “al shamal” means THE north
And in the Lebanese accent they say shmeel

Thanks for the clarification, I appreciate it :)
It's crazy that u can name all of it! As a fellow geography on map lover I am amazed by your skill! Keep it up bud
I just can name the whole countries in the world by flags, and also naming their capitals
I can also recognize all the countries in Asia, Europe and America in map, still struggling with Africa and Oceania countries though

Awesome stuff, well done. I’m doing the same thing but doing the countries in alphabetical order.
Thanks! That's great, are you just doing Asia or all the continents?
@@MercateerGeo Im also doing all the continents but right now I’m stuck at Azerbaijan, I still have a lot to do
Tip for Vietnamese pronounciation: ơ like in Sơn La is similar to Swedish ö
