Hi all, thanks for watching my video documenting my first thoughts of my new Gaz Gold Pro Coilovers. Hopefully this will be of help for those looking to fit these their cars 👍
Cheers Paul, I was bit apprehensive as I thought they might be a bit too...blingy. As you probably know, I originally wanted bronze, but these were a good deal, so I thought "Well, you only live once!". Thanks for watching.
Hi there, thanks for watching, and thanks for the comment. They've been absolutely fine, although on a previous vehicle inspection at a garage they noted there was some corrosion the rear coil springs. From what I've read online, the warranty looks to be 2 years, but I could be wrong.
I'm not sure about those alloys, run then for a few weeks and you can always get them sprayed bronze at a refurb place if needed LOL. Good work with the shocks though, it's great when when you have fixed something yourself. I remember taking my dad's Escort Mk II engine apart and replacing the pistons (the Escort was the car prior to the Focus young 'uns), a brilliant memory.
Yeah, I had a feeling the alloys wouldn't be for everyone, but the majority have liked them, so I will leave them be fore the time being. Thanks for watching Steve.
Because at some point I'll be doing the odd track day. Plus, it's not uncommon for MX-5 owners to buy these for fast road use as the offer improved handling 💁♂️. I wouldn't say these were race coils either, as these are the mid-range set. Thanks for watching, I hope that clears that up 👍🏽
They're my driving gloves buddy. They're not for everyone but they're comfortable and they give me more grip as my hands can get clammy and my steering wheel can be a bit slippery. Thanks for watching Peter

Colder weather can stiffen shocks and increase rattles rougher ride😬
I must confess I don't recall ever having that issue. Thanks for watching.
No problem with the help 👌🏻 glad they are set up perfectly now, shame about the tape measure situation, I have since found one 😂
Lovely video, great work!
Great video,
I’m keep to get these coils but I don’t the ride height to be this low. How much higher can they adjust?
Hi Sam, thanks for watching. I'm afraid I can't answer that question as that was never really something I needed to consider. Sorry I can't help.
Nice vid man! I'm based in Sheffield, should let me show you the Peak District sometime, great drive!
There's some lovely roads around the Peak District 👌 Thanks for watching.

@@paulwallder6359 Very true, good point Paul - thanks for watching.
Nice video man. Which springs are you running on the coilovers?
400/300 pal. Thanks for watching.
How have they lasted 3 years on? What's the warranty like?
Any reservations
