That opening day game, last inning: your SPEED stat for a player really only affects XBH. Your STEAL stat is compared to the pitcher's HOLD stat and catcher's ARM stat w/r/t stealing success.
Hi DG! I very actively play OOTP21 & have found no reason to upgrade/update. However, one aspect of 21's gameplay is frustrating & I am wondering if OOTP25 is an improvement. OOTP21 gameplay has outfielders seldom 'hit the cutoff man', throwing home & allowing the batter to advance to second base. IRL this would drive their manager nuts. Does OOTP25 have an option to cut off the throws? It sounds goofy, but it really rankles. I have felt that cutting off the throw/throwing home or to third was a decision point (for the manager) missed by OOTP. Thanks in advance!
I play A ball in the UK. The ratings don't go down that low, so I'm not surprised they are not in the game! Also the minors in the UK changes quite a lot year to year, so it would be hard to scout with teams coming in and out of existence, changing levels year by year, etc. Everything below the NBL is totally amateur too, so it is a tough job to make that fit the professional structure of the OOTP games with everyone on full time contracts.

I tried the UK league and... refunded the game, no AAA/AA or A
