Like that you don't jack up the trade difficulty. The trade difficulty on very hard/highly favor prospect is ridiculous. IRL Hader gets you 2 top 10ish system guys, a very good old reliever. Soto gets you multiple top 100 prospects. On hard/hard, good luck getting any top 50 prospects period. Also the highly favor prospects makes it super easy to fleece the ai for cheapish vets
I tend to ignore the overall ratings. I have guys with 40 overall leading my team in batting stats. The overall doesn't mean they won't contribute. It adds everything together. A guy with 60+ batting ratings but is slow as a snail and has 30 defense ratings isn't going to be a 60 overall just because he's able to bat 125 OPS+ for you. He may be a 40 or 45 and these are the guys I go after. My pitching sucks and with the A's budget I'm never going to be able to afford all star caliber pitching so I may as well go for all star caliber batting stats. I care about defense somewhat but guys with elite defense and batting ratings are not on the A's budget.
