Yes Taemin is a music genius. He can even identify notes and chords just by listening to a song and play that immediately in a piano. A true artist indeed. Saw it in WGM.
It's called experience. Any musicians should be able to read music sheets, and they will also learn to at least identify notes or chords.

Taemin loves this stuff. This is the guy who stayed in a cabin in the woods watching a horror movie at night alone for fun but got disappointed because it wasn’t scary enough so decided to walk outside at night to a playground to experience fear.

Taemin knows everything. Did you notice that when everyone finds clues and is working on them, Taemin is quiet. However, whenever they get stuck, Taemin all the sudden finds a new, important clue. The others flock to it and start to solve the new clue, while Taemin steps back and gets quiet again, but watches them. I firmly believe that Taemin is part of everything, helps when needed, and works with the production crew.
Either that or Taemin is just pure genius.
Hmm...I agree he is part of almost everything but I don't think our Taem works with production crew in this Escape Challenge. For one, it will be unfair to the other members as they are competing for M-Cash. It's more like Taemin is a quiet genius. Not that farfetch an idea as Shawols know how intelligent he is, even in academics.

2) love how kai talked about Signal when someone talked over the walkie-talkie. one of my fave kdramas. so accurate haha.
3) lucas is a lowkey genius. really smart wow. ten too. honestly all of them are really intelligent.
4) love the balcony scene. felt like some romantic period movie haha. and then loved how they talked about catching the groom hahaha.
5) taeyong's intuition is really strong. wow. i love how he asked why they were in the room and then baekhyun mentioned being trapped like in Saw to scare him probably haha.
