There's some pro and contra when this group was created even until today, because the members already have their own schedule on their own group and SuperM adds more to their schedule making fans of each group worries about their health. But we can clearly see that the members actually enjoy being in this project, they literally said they wanted to make more music and working even more hard to prove that they can be one of those group who bring kpop into another level. It's kinda heartbreaking to see some said "fans" put hashtags to disband them because as you said these guys are such a perfect combination to create a fresh image of kpop. Baekhyun even once said that "it's sad to see some fans dislike us but it's okay cause we'll work even harder to prove ourselves so please keep support us". And thanks to this group actually i become NCTzen too 😂

And yepp that's right, none of them is korean, they're Chinese, Cantonesse, and Thai. And as far as i know, WayV is China-based unit of NCT, they also got label V which is sub label from SM on China.
