I vacation there last year it was gorgeous I wanted to go back again this year in August I don’t know if that’s gonna happen but I sure love to go back so thank you for sharing this video this is one beautiful place
We just left bullhead after 23 years. Miss it already. We are now in Syracuse NY.
In 1987, Don Laughlin funded and built the Laughlin Bridge at a cost of $4.5 million. He donated the bridge to the states of Nevada and Arizona.“Down here on a state line you’ve got two fish and game departments, two highway departments, and two of everything else,” said Laughlin. “It took four and a half years to get the bridge approved by, I think, 38 different agencies. Only took us four months to build it.”
I live and work in Laughlin. Yes. We are open!!! On Friday, June 5th...I paid a lot of jackpots to our guests. It was very busy. Welcome back folks!!

Yes. The Tropicana is open. That's where I work. We are sanitizing everything, including all our slot machines and chairs. Our table games area is currently closed, however, it will reopen on July 1st. All employees are required to wear uniformed issued face masks. For our guests, it's optionable. You can get a mask from our security podium. There are plenty of hand sanitizing stations throughout our casino. We still allow smoking and we also offer a non smoking area. We do ask that everyone be responsible for our social distancing policy which is the 6 feet required by the CDC. The Colorado Belle is not opened. I have no information on to what the future holds for the property. We can only hope that an investor comes along and returns it to its former glory. Stay safe and healthy folks. Very well done and I love going to Laughlin and have stayed up to 10 nights and 11 days but love it and the town of Laughlin is very clean and pretty. Everyone we know loves coming to Laughlin, NV.

My husband and I were there a month ago and bought a Little Guy camper at RV Country there in Laughlin. It was so strange, no traffic, everything closed. Went to a drive thru and got lunch. Glad they are opening things up.

Don Laughlin is still living, he lives in the penthouse on top of the Riverside casino, his grandson now runs the Riverside. A few years ago he paid for and developed the park that you walked through.
Enjoyed the video. Stayed one night at the Edgewater in 1992 for $28.00. In September it was 107 deg 10 humidity.

I used to go to Laughlin in the mid 1980's. There were only two or three casinos and one small gas station. Things have sure changed.

I love Laughlin. We stay at least one night every trip out to Nevada. Made that drive from Kingman since 1989, before the widening!
107? Ouch, but it's a dry heat!!! Riverside has a non smoking casino for those of us who have already ruined our lungs. Laughlin/Bullhead is very rv friendly. Great place in the winter!!!!!
I came out here to Laughlin, Nevada in 1997. It was 117 degrees that afternoon.

I live in Golden Valley and went to Laughlin for 2 night stay at the Edgewater last month and they were taking your temperature as you entered the casino check in desk. I really like the walkway along the river between casinos. I heard that Avi casino further south of Laughlin is closed now due to Covid 19, and I also heard that the Colorado Belle will be closed permanently. I was fortunate to stay there in February. I would totally recommend the Edgewater. Modern rooms and since I booked my stay online the room was only $22 plus tax per night.
I like Laughlin in the early spring. It’s fun to ride the water taxi at night, nice and cool. We might check out that rv park you passed next time but it’s gonna be in July and I’m not looking forward to that gawd awful heat. It’s hotter than Vegas. Thanks for the side trip 😎✌️
Ginny Bauer RV park is ok. On the upper levels they have cement for your RV to park on so nice and level.
Just be glad you don't have to deal with the Texas humidity like I do.

As soon as we got there she went in the water . I just sat in the chair. We got up to go to our room , we were staying at the harrahs you have to walk up a hill to go inside the elevator, I almost passed out I had to sit down lol.

Recently listed in Old Bullhead straight across the river from Harrah’s casino is a double Commercial lot for 118,000 on Long Ave. between 2nd and 3rd Streets. Great investment, the only thing better is Commercial lots between 1st and 2nd streets on Long Ave. Reason? The City of Bullhead are building a commercial launch ramp with an outlet on Long and First streets, completion set for summer of 2022.

Awesome day, actually saw a glimpse of my truck near the boat launch. Little bit windy, Saturday was worse but that 60 degree water is the best!! Especially on Kawasaki Jet skis 🇺🇸👍

First time I ever been in Laughlin Nevada. I agree about the smoking. But simply put smokers are very loyal gamblers. The water temp in the Colorado River at Laughlin is around 60 degrees. It doesn't vary much during the year because the river flows from the bottom of Lake Mojave. (From Google)
I am planning to spend my birthday here in Laughlin and Bullhead City rather than Vegas, due to covid. Laughlin Nevada, as a much smaller town, with the Colorado River just appeals so much more to me now.

I'm the same way when it comes to casinos, Russ. I'll tale $20, play the 'penny' slots and win some lose some until it's gone, usually a couple hours later. Then I'm out of there! My motto is the same as yours when it comes to gambling, "Hard come, easy go!" LoL

Great video Russ you are the Arizona adventurer, I am with you on the gambling, it takes a special kind of person to set up a months wages on a poker table, if you look at history, with all the mines around bullfrog, which by the way the town was named after all the green rock dug up in those gold mines, more fortunes were lost at those poker tables than were dug out of the ground.

I love going to Smash Burger at Harrah's in Laughlin. The waitresses are so nice. So hello to Nicki and Daniell for me.
At the buffet breakfast in the Aquarius, there are large windows and I love to sit by them and watch the river flow by as I'm dining.
That bridge hasn't been there too long.. I recall going to Laughlin soon after we moved to Las Vegas in 1996 and that bridge wasn't built yet. To get from Laughlin to Bullhead was a drive up and over the Davis Dam.

I lived in Bullhead and worked in Laughlin for 10 years. Hotter than hell there! Doesn't look like its changed too much. Just all the roads got wider. I liked living there but you couldn't make more than 5 bucks an hour. Everything is in tips.
