What do you do if the meltdowns start and the child becomes like hitting pushing you? I'm talking age 8 here.

      I don’t think there’s just one answer
I try lots of different things and sometimes one works better than another even with the same child it can vary
Some kids calm from breathing through their nose
Some kids like being squeezed between pillows or a squeeze on their legs or arms
Some kids like heavy work like lifting ankle weights or pulling very tough Velcro
Some kids like playing with putty or slime
I don’t find asking what’s bothering them works because communication is challenging when they are upset if you have to ask try to make it a yes or no question they can answer with a gesture like thumbs up or thumbs down for example don’t require speech when they are already disregulated

How much is the workshop with the coupon?
My daughter doesn’t have a lot of money and I was wondering if I could pay for it for her, depending on the cost?

The workshop itself is free, and can be found at MaryBarbera.com/links-yt. My courses have a fee. All of the details can be found on that same website.
