Aaaaaand the part came in. Swap perfect and same experience- no auto up on the DS but auto down works. Happy camper. Just watched the D bulb video and it is also excellent. Thank you!
Yup, my drivers door window switch is very sensitive and if I push down too hard, it’ll stop working for awhile. May buy the $30 Amazon part for my 2001, thanks!!
I had the same issues few months ago. The switch was a bit warm even when my engine was off for the whole night. Was thinking to get a used part but at the end, I got a brand new genuine one. It took like 10 min to replace it.
@@chowcares every time the doors get heated up from the sun, the doors don't want to lock/unlock. Mud forums say it's the servo motors or something. @alexatwagan
@@chowcares yes the buttons on my switch still works but my problem is also intermittent. I notice when the sun is at its peak and the weather is hot and the truck is hot, that’s when I have the problems. And I just realized, now with the weather being kinda cool I haven’t had any issues. So i guess the problem is the switch then...?
Thanks for sharing. I am facing a strange problem with my LC100 1998 I wish you could shed some light. My LC100 back door is a swing type and every time I stand next to it while it is open and the the remote key in my hand or in my pocket, suddenly all doors lock including the back door, sort of wrong signal. I am confused what is causing this!!!
@showcares, hi, can you include pictures of how the wires look inside the door? having trouble matching the connector to wires as they were disconnected f
@@chowcares I wonder if it's just a matter of the switch or a bunch of relays and components. My old RX300 has it. I liked the feature so much, I actually hesitated on getting the LX until I found out that it also had it.

I have a 2000 LX470. Just installed the new master switch but only the lock feature works. Any thoughts?
My door swtich only seems to have one connector on it. What does the middle connector do? (Mine's a 2004 V8)

How would you know whether the problem is with the switch or the actual motor ? Great content
On mine the problem was intermittent. On yours do any of the buttons in your switch work? If not it’s most likely the switch.

Reaz Islam most likely it’s your switch. I’d try to get the Amazon one and try it out. If it’s not the switch at least you can return it.

I’ll bet it’s cracked wiring shorting out within the door hinge

Mumblix Grumph even tho the lc only had one auto down/up window. Now that it’s gone I kinda miss it
