Speaking seriously, The Last of the Wicked kinda did change my life, it's the book that got me back into reading. Galavan is one of my favorite fictional places of all time, and it's such a massive step forward from Eternal (which I enjoyed quite a bit) that it's hard to go back when I could just read TLotW again.
The late, great Twiggle actually included a clip in one of his Spelunky 2 compilations with a naturally spawning kill camp in 1-4, so it's actually possible for it to happen, it's just that it's very, very rare.
