@@PiyushPatel-wk4bq That's an interesting idea. You will need a membership plugin like SureMembers to restrict access to closed group. It will be similar to a course website with multiple tutors/contributors.
Hi there. I want to thank you for a well-structured and detailed review of competing Video platforms. My interest is in finding a platform to host my LMS tutorial videos, and your feedback on the 3 platforms has been insightful. I am creating an LMS platform for my firm and the Presto Player would be a perfect fit. I am making this commenting as I have not heard of Presto prior to this. However, it seems to fit right into our website based on Astra/Elementor. Thank you for such an extensive review of the platforms. Cheers
Hello, do you know how to create a website like discord ? I want to create a platerform with my online videos but I also want to have a chat group to answer all differents question. Is this possible with wordpress?
I want to open a course platform. I have about 300gb of videos that average 30-60 minutes. They are in 4K resolution. Currently, about 30-50 people watch it on a daily basis, and during the peak season it can be from 300-700 during the day (I'm using google drive for now). What package and what to choose? Will Vimeo do it? I have 2TB there and I'm afraid it's not enough. I would choose Presto, but I don't want recommended movies to appear at the end.
@@_hudeifa23 I uploaded the videos to TH-cam, which is the best free hosting for videos, and bought the premium version of Presto Player. Thanks to this, I was able to hide the TH-cam UI and everything worked perfectly. I pay much less and have no restrictions on hosting
You can avoid showing competitor videos on the end screens adding &rel=0 to the YT video url. You forget to mention some more pros for YT. Google will promote it's products in search results (I believe Google boosts pages that have it's ecosystem products included YT, Maps and other embeds). You also have access to YT's traffic and you can create a subscriber list that automatically boosts your reach each time you publish a new video. These are things that help boost free videos and are not necessarily pros for paid videos/membership sites.
Thank you for your feedback :) For free courses yes, YT is awesome as the price and service is unbeatable. But for paid courses / memberships it comes with the limitations outlined.
Do you plan on creating an online course?
Planning to create a clone of youtube for closed group. Any suggestions
