Hi everyone! I wanted to quickly rectify an error in this video. In the video, I mentioned that L.L.M. falls under point 7 of NCrF, but it actually falls under point 6.5. If you have any further questions about the draft, feel free to ask in the comments below. Thank you for your support!
Hiii.. Even if the CGPA is lesser than the mentioned percentage in the Graduation.... regardless of gow much the percentage is if one cleared the NET he's still eligible for the Assistant professor. Correct?
Depends on which subject you are giving your NET in. If you are giving your NET on English Literature, you will be eligible to be an assistant professor in English.
Hello mam I have cleared my net in 2022 in English literature But i don't have any teaching experience Will colleges take me after an interview as assistant professor? And my other doubt is... Can i take direct admission in phd on the basis of my net 2022? Please give answer@@RiyaGandhi09
Hi Ma’am, If a Ph.D. was awarded many years ago without an entrance exam or credit system, would it still qualify as eligible candidature without NET? Kindly guide me. Also, may I know which is your alma mater?
As far as I know, I think you are eligible for the role of Assistant Professor even when you have a Ph.D which was awarded many years ago. If you still want more clarity, you can read the draft of UGC Guidelines 2025; it is readily available on internet.
Thank you Madam. I agree with all your points. But I am sorry. the disagreement rises in one particular place. The last category of your chart you say people with PG+55% in engineering and technology ARE ALONE ELIGIBLE FOR not qualifying NET exam. But the same third column in the mentioning of engineering and technology, it is stated "for example". That is, for example these two disciplines. It doesn't say only ME and Mtech with 55% of marks. Hope u understand my point. Can you make it clearer madam?
@@ItrustmyLord I understood. But in "for example", it is for NCrF Level 7. So for students who are doing M.E., M.Tech, L.L.M, and equivalent degree that falls under NCrF 7 they can avoid NET or Ph.D. to become an Assistant Professor. For students who have Master's degree that falls under NCrF 6.5, like M.A., MBA, etc, they have to either do Ph.D or NET to become an Assistant Professor. Not just that, as per last year's guidelines, NET scores will be taken into consideration for Ph.D. admission
Assuming that you are talking about qualifying NET Exam, then you have two choice: Either you can opt for Ph.D. or you can be an Assistant Professor in your concerned subject area.
So, if you pursue your Masters in Engineering, that is, you receive an M.E. degree then you are eligible to be an Assistant Professor directly, without NET or Ph.D.
If you have a postgraduate degree and if you have cleared NET that means you are a fresher. Most colleges do hire fresher professors, but it can depend upon the colleges or universities you are targeting.
Mamplz I have also a doubt because I want to become a assistant professor. Now I am pursuing my masters degree in english From IGNOU and now I am 2nd year student. what do I have to net/set/slet because I am very confused ABOUT it. 2nd doubt if I pass in appearing session in net exam without JRF so mera score card kbtak valid hoga for PhD and assistant professor. 3rd doubt kya hme abhi se hi research start krni hogi kya because muje in sbke ke baare me kuch smj nahi aa raha hai to kya ye sab hme PhD session me krna hoga 🤔. Plz mam ye sab mere doubt hai clear kr do. Agr mera score card ONLY assistant professor and PhD ke bases pr ho to tbhi bhi me assistant professor ke liye apply kr skti hu. It's humble requests mam plz clear it.
First doubt: Assuming you want to be an assistant professor in English since you're doing your master's in English, you must give NET on English. If you give NET/SET/SLET on English, then you're eligible to be an Assistant Professor of English Second doubt: If you pass in the upcoming session without JRF, your NET scorecard will be valid for life as an Assistant Professor. For a Ph.D., it will be valid for one year from the date of declaration. Third doubt: First I would suggest clear NET, then narrow down your research area and topic. After which, you will have to draft a research proposal. But for now, focus on clearing NET. If you're feeling very confused, don't worry. I have simplified the syllabus and everything in my courses. Madam, I have one question: Is NET still relevant? If I only have a Master’s degree, do I qualify to be an Assistant Professor, or do I need a Ph.D. or NET to qualify?
Depends on what you did your Master's in. If you did your Master's in M.E. or M. Tech then your Master's degree is enough to make you an Assistant Professor. However, if you did your Master's degree in any subject that falls under NCrF 6.5, then you need to do a Ph.D. or NET to be eligible for the role of an Assistant Professor.

75% ug me kese bn sakte hai arts faculty me! agar ye score nahi hai to kya apply nahi kr skte ? pg me to hai required %
It is given 75% OR..... So if not 75% you may apply where your criteria suits.
75% is required in 4 year integrated Bachelors degree where you want to become directly eligible for assistant professor without any pg.

Is API not required anymore for shortlisting or selection of candidates for the post of Assistant Professor???
The draft proposes to remove API for promotion and selection of faculty members in colleges and universities.
MSc agriculture is falls under which NCrF
Isn't a master degree in law , falls under NCrf 6.5? where NET becomes mandatory
Thanks for pointing it out, and I appreciate your understanding! I have rectified it in the comment section.
how about education subject

Only ugc net right? Not csir net?
CSIR NET is also considered.
@@RiyaGandhi09ASRB NET also included?

As per the guidelines released last year, NET scores are to be considered for PhD admission.
Nothing has changed for the students of p g who fall under 6.5 .

Without a PhD will they ask for experience of teaching in the interview of colleges?
