I love seeing peoples interpretations of this series, I've always imagined the opening scene to be a quiet and uncomfortable place, same with most of the first real world scenes. Love this dub and your voice actors are awesome
It's July 21st as I'm watching this. Would've been perfect timing if I saw this yesterday on Sunny's birthday (July 20th). Overall, a pretty cool manga, I rate it 14.3/10

OK, if I’m being honest, I’m not really sure if I’m a fan of how Aubrey is portrayed here 6:42 Aubrey just unprovoked attacks, basil leaving him in his own blood LIKE HOLY SHIT In the game, Aubrey Doesn’t outright attack basil, but sees him as a nuisance and steals his photo album to keep it safe The ones hurting basil, are the hooligans only not Aubrey she wouldn’t do that She only gets into fights because we the player start them. We get in the way of what’s going on with basil and while game, Aubrey has her bad moments to not writing wise, but character wise she never just attacks the player because She’s clearly expressed she wouldn’t do that if we just stayed out of whatever was going on “ what about the time of the lake” Here’s the thing Aubrey was having a mental breakdown at that point and basil got too close Here Aubrey just hit basil on the head with a baseball bat covered in nails just for breathing I guess And then belittles sunny at a horrible degree She did that in the game, but I don’t remember it being as a vile as it is here Unless I’m missing something Also, like I get the story has to be different because it would be boring if it was the same story but like still have Aubrey apologize and try to be sympathetic but like it’s hard to feel sympathetic to someone that just hurts people while their back is turned That’s low brow, even for Auby and no, I don’t mean the voice acting here in this video. It was great. Keep up with the great work 💚
to the people reading the manga before playing the game: PLEASE PLAY THE GAME OR AT LEAST WATCH A PLAYTHROUGH OF OMORI FIRST! the game is so much more impactful, and the manga is made more for people who have already played it. the pacing in the manga is fast as shit, and if you want to have a better experience with OMORI, I suggest playing the game first. (plus, the characters are so much better, (especially aubrey,) sunny’s depression/ptsd is depicted so much better, and basically everything is better.)

The art is this is really good, the horror elements are interesting, and your voice dubbing of the characters is really nice. Though the decision to change the order of events show the real world and it’s version of the characters before Sunny’s dream world is certainly… a Choice, and general pacing feels very weird. I’m probably not saying anything too revolutionary in comparison to the general fandom opinion, but that’s my opinion so far.
Great dub for the most part! I do think the graphics for the days left and welcome to white space could be improved. Maybe as a gif from the original? And sadly, I feel as if Kel’s voice isn’t too accurate. Especially in headspace. The line delivery for him espicially is a bit off, and just a little bit off for Aubrey. All in all though I think it’s a really good dub!
