Here's a tip to holding them and prevent them from struggling so much. Hold their legs(feet) together between your fingers like a cigarette. They tend to not stress as much and struggle as much once they notice their legs are locked. :)

Looking good flying BUT there panting ,give a hit of turbisole for 2 days watch em change.
Corn is a carb grain it's gr8 for blowing them up for race day.Corn is also heating grain so good for cold nights and temps below 27degrees.Try it blood works real well mate.Oh tip 2days before race day give heaps of corn.

Very boring. The fun I had was breeding for color. It was fun trying to come up with different colors. However, work always kept me from raising and flying pigeons. I was always moving around, America and the World. I'm jealous, you are doing what I always wanted to do. Also, get well soon.

i do like breeding for colour, i still have my barless hen / tiger grizzles & the yellow hen we can play with! time is an issue. but OLR will free up time to play around a little! breeding is the best part!
