    That is quite the change in temperatures from the desert to the Alpine Heights. Another great video. As always thanks for sharing.

      It really was! We could have stayed there forever if it was a little cooler. Middle of Jully is always a hot time in the Utah desert.

    A few of those off-camber exposure sections gave me the hebbie-jebbies, and I'm just sitting in my chair. The drone fly-through of the tear drop out into the wild blue yonder is major motion picture cinematography worthy. If I was Roger Ebert this Utah video series would get four stars in the outdoor adventure category. Looks like your Jeep/Escopod setup is the perfect combination! Thanks for the vicarious visit to the Utah backcountry. More Colorado would be okay though😉

    • @GetOverItOutdoors
      @GetOverItOutdoors  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      So glad you liked this one too. I had been wanting to do that drone fly-through for a while before we even had the trailer. I wasn’t sure how it would go with the GPS signal loss for the brief moment it was in the trailer. But I performed great. We are very happy with the setup between the Jeep and trailer. They perform in perfect unison.
      I wish we had more in CO but we spent a few days in Rocky Mtn National Park and there no drone flying or TH-cam filming on there without permits and fees. So we just enjoyed a little time with out cameras. But boy was it magnificent, so wish we could have filmed some of it.

      Yeah, kinda disappointed about the Park Service determination on video and posting it on something like YT. Last in RMNP in 2014 and it was so stunning. Glad y'all had a great trip west this year.@@GetOverItOutdoors

    Nice video, that spot you found in the SaRafael Swell was amazing. The view breathtaking, looking to take my wife on a trip in that area this spring she doesn’t like shelf roads though, so I’ll have to be careful about where I take her. I know she’d love it there, but getting her there is the problem. Love the trailer. God Bless you both in 2024

      Thank you so much! Yes, this spots was amazing. I love ridge line campsites in Utah! The shelf roads aren’t bad at all on the trail out there. It is however very bumpy with embedded small rocks and stuff. Thanks for watching and commenting! Btw just subbed your channel. Great drone footage! God bless you as well!

      Yes, we were worried about wind there also. you always have to keep that in he back of your head when camping high up on a bluff line like that.

    Love the portable solar generator idea! Do you think you could fill up your trailer batteries from empty with that setup? How many hours would you say you could possibly get out of your air conditioner?? And does it cool the cabin down nicely?? 😊

    • @GetOverItOutdoors
      @GetOverItOutdoors  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It will replenish about 3/4 of the trailer battery power but I don’t empty the solar generators all the way. I use one to power our 2nd fridge inside the jeep. The a/c depletes the batteries down to about 25 to 35%. Depending on outside temp and also what we set the thermostat at. The a/c will definitely cool the inside no problem so far. Waiting for July or August in the FL humidity and I’ll do a video on it and how it does.

      Thank you Kate! I didn’t realize the beauty either til our trip a few years ago when we went to Sedona and the Grand Canyon. But now am totally in love with out West! The antenna for our GMRS radio, it’s kinda like HAM radio. Don’t use it to much when we’re not with other people except for weather when we don’t have cell service

    Does the A/c on the trailer run through a inverter off the batteries?

    • @GetOverItOutdoors
