To be fair, they could have done a game boy version, snes version, game cube version, gba transparent version, but they didn’t. All of those would have sold out pretty quickly.
This new Mario red edition Switch OLED is growing on me, I’ll be getting this one on Monday, I can’t wait especially as the Switch is going to be my first Nintendo system in years.
Seems Mario on the back represents hitting a block (when the back cover is popped off) and then (as in the games) coins are found. Its brilliant in its simplicity.
Seems more to me like those hidden/secret rooms you could find by walking "behind" certain blocks in the environment, that would often contain a handful of coins stacked like that. These being behind the backplate seems to match this better than hitting a block smaller than Mario and seeing 1 or more coins pop up above it in a vertical line
Once you’re playing on the Nintendo switch console. Like it pretty simple but it doesn’t really make any difference type. 2 joy-cons can slide it down to the console. Different to the dock is popped off. 4 generations of console tablet of wifi. Your playing in online and quick play

They should’ve done them in different colors to represent each playable character on the Mario wonder game,a green & black switch to represent Luigi would be dope.
