I know I'm going get a lot of hate because of the comment but first of I want to tell you that I really like how colourful they turned out the only problem that I have with this DIY is that after a day the playdoh is probably going to harden in a really ugly way even tho she let it dry for like 10 to 15 minutes and then glued them back on her real nails... THE POINT IS that back then I use to make little bows with playdoh thinking that they would stay cute forever but after a day THE PLAYDOH STARTS TO GET THIS KIND OF TINY LITTLE BUBBLES WHICH MAKES IT LOOK REALLY UGLY...

A way to probably fix this is to put a glossy/matte top coat on immediately. It will stop the playdough from changing.

I just did this! i even used playdough and a toothpick to make 3D flowers and other nail art :)
you can hit it with a regular clear topcoat once it dries or paint them too :) it's better they have a top coat (and a bottom coat) of clear nail polish because they do get soft in water otherwise
but they totally look like acrylic nails

Here is an easier way to make life easier
First put the colors that you want of play doh on your finger nails
take a plastic knife (like the ones that come with the play doh pack)
cut off the edges
pat it down

I didn’t find any play doh in my house but I used clay and it worked just as well and they look absolutely beautiful
