What makes the cutter look even better is Cody pushing his legs out to flatten his body out. Normally high up cutters can look clunky but this was beautiful

I was surprised by how little the ladders moved during the cutter, and then I saw the refs holding on to them for dear life, lol. That makes more sense. Impressive move though.
The moment I saw the ref move the ladder, I was really annoyed with that because of the injuries from them falling straight down on there legs but, I did appreciate the commentary telling why they did move it….still confused by it but if they both agreed to the spot then I won’t argue it anymore…Hell of a Match
You have to hold the ladders there’s no way in hell you can spring board off the top off a ladder without tilting it and falling and breaking a limb or your neck from that height. Overall the refs had to work the match too for the wrestlers safety that’s why it was smart from TK to have 2 out there. Sammy couldn’t of stood at the top of the ladder and flipped off it without it tilting and suffering a serious injury. The refs had to be on point to assist the wrestlers with anything they needed so they could give us a hell of a match.
The ref holds it for them
Refs job is to ensure wrestlers safety and enforce the rules, when the basic rules are gone, it's their safety that's paramount

This ladder match between Cody Rhodes and Sammy Guevara was brutally great. These 2 truly are the bestest/greatest TNT Champion in AEW history. Cody Rhodes may have lost this match, but you can't denying that his performance was greatly good. Sammy Guevara might be crazy (or as they say in Spanish: loco), but in the end of this match, Sammy is become the true champion. And Sammy showing that he's wanting to be our champion. And that the true champion. As far I can tell and judging how entertaining that match is, Cody and Sammy truly are the true champion.😃😊😧😊😉

Usually when someone tries doing some type of move off a ladder they someone botch it, this RKO was fucking sick!! Y’all see how high up Sammy first jumped off the ladder, he went over Cody’s head and had to catch him as he was already comming down. Amazing .

Cody's got to be the one of the best and complete wrestlers of all time. Working for the industry and not just self goals. Putting great faith in youngsters. Put Sammy over, put Darby over. And like he said, "Before there was a Forbidden Door, he helped create it".

But I also was at Thanksgiving Dynamite when the fan threw back his Weight Belt, and it just felt like Cena on ECW One Night Stand 2006 when the fans absolutely despised the man.
He is a legend, got tired of being used as a goofball and bet on himself, worked the Indies, Japan, ROH then promoted All-Out with the Bucks, with their own money with no guarantee of making it back, just faith on their work and the fans they made.
Then produced a massive Indie show and convinced Khan to invest in a promotion which put ProWrestling back in the picture and brought many fans back to the business.
And his level of matches, vs Dusty, Wardow, Sammy and so many more...

I love how this match started like an old school ladder match, with the ladders on the rampway ala Shawn vs Razor, with actual wrestling in the ring to start the match
It just felt like the end was a bit excessive, like it felt like the match could have been over before Sammy hit the dive off the ladder, especially with how it became irrelevant like less than a minute later.
I agree also, it was a good Match but i feel that they should had sale a little more, specially after he did the swantom bomb and they got up like nothing, and other spot, i don't hate the Match it was entertaining.

Seems very obvious in cooperation. The camera guy shouldve shot higher so people at home would not see
the refs in the Fed do it too, it's hard to see them doing it because they do a camera hard cut every half second or so
When Cody was climbing that ladder it was wobbling like crazy. Commentary pointed out it was the same one he dropped Sammy into.
