Bro, awesome video of the Trabant. It was always my favorite ride. I remember there being 2 versions. The 2 wheel and the single wheel version. The 1 wheel had the hydraulically lowered platform that folded out and the double wheel had the platform that needed to be put together in pieces sort of like a pie. I recall the ride operators and setup crew saying the single wheel version was a bigger ride vs the earlier double wheel version. This ride has been very well kept. I hope it lasts for another 50 years : )
Yeah, I always thought Trabant was one of Chance's best rides in terms of presentation. It has a real "major ride" look, especially with all the ornaments and perimeter lights. I had no idea a 2 wheel Trabant existed, I'd love to see some photos of that!

@@mxp2000 my local carnival has a one-wheel Trabant they rethemed to a Casino ride. Still looks like a Trabant but it's called Casino.
