Everyone’s Favorite Motor! Dover Impulse Hydraulic Elevator in Austin, TX. - 2024 Take

Video Recorded on May 20, 2024: Turn up the volume a little bit if you want to hear the Chewbacca sounding motor. I unfortunately couldn’t fit the location in the title because of the exceeding limit, but this is definitely the Texas Capital Visitor’s Center. This is also the only elevator I filmed in all of downtown as the rest of the elevators around this block (i.e.: the capital center garages and especially the Texas state Capitol) have all been modernized since then, so I don’t have that much time to bother the rest being in town for such a short day but I did visit a good amount of places, mainly UT Austin, so stay tuned for that. Installed in 1991.

I've rode on that elevator (got stuck on it). I was born in Texas and lived there for 3 years, so I rode on that elevator and got stuck on it
