  • Staying in the Netherlands after Poland, trying to apply for the protection, find a flat, manage living, figure out our future.
    Rating some cities in the NL. Spoiler: Amsterdam is not in my top 3...or 4. Rotterdam didn´t make it to the video.
    Enjoying Den Haag, Haarlem, Utrecht, Woerden; exploring Amsterdam; appreciating Kamerik.
    Participating in the march in the support of Ukraine.
    Being amazed by the nature and animals.
    Being amazed by the mess in some cities.
    Missing home every second. But being grateful to be here and explore this beautiful (yet cold and gloomy) country.

    Actually, the museum is free. Well almost. For 75 euro a year youll get free access to almost every museum in the country, over 500 in total, with the "Museumjaarkaart". 39 of them in Amsterdam alone so most Dutch people have it. You can even reserve time slots for free in the more popular musea with the year pass. Its a great deal and a must have for anyone staying in the country for a longer period since you'll make that investment back with just 4 or 5 visits.

    If you ever come to The Hague again, go to the Panorama Mesdag. It's a painting of 120 meters in circonferance and 14 meters high. And you are standing in the middle of it, making you feel like you stepped back in time to Scheveningen in 1880. And please tell them you are from Ukraine.
    Btw hope your country will soon be free and save again.

    7:47 But Haarlem has sea! The coast is just 6 km’s from the old town.

      @@kava_stains I live in Leiden, which is a similar distance from the sea as Haarlem. So I know how it’s easy to overestimate the distance. I guess it’s because the city and the beach town don’t feel like one and the same place. Unlike in the Hague, where there’s just a continued built-up area and several trams to Scheveningen and Kijkduin.

    There is a problem with the title in your video. No description. No social link. No subscribe. No like.

    • @kava_stains
      @kava_stains  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      the title describes the video content pretty well. There is a social in the description below, so...there is also a description. And all those "no" elements you´ve mentioned are called "call to action", which I don´t need because I am not trying to sell my life etc, I am saving the moments.
